Great cutting disc, only used once so far but works very well

Compared to traditional abrasive wheels, this is truly a game changer! It is lasting very well, so far it has lasted the equivalent of probably 20 slim cutting discs and shows no sign of blunting. It could well live up to the '1000 Cuts' printed on the label. I bought this after an abrasive disc exploded, shredding my gloves (thankfully not me) and a bit piercing my face visor (also thankfully not me). I wondered if there was a better alternative. Being a diamond encrusted steel wheel, the chances of it breaking, let alone exploding are slim so it should be much safer. Also, because the diameter does not change as it wears, it maintains the same surface speed and keeps cutting - I guess until it goes blunt. But there's no sign of going blunt yet. They are a lot more expensive than, even good quality discs - but it has more than paid for itself already. Works fine on Mild steel & 304 Stainless. It would probably work on 316 though I've not tried it (yet). Stainless eats abrasive discs very fast. If you need to cut stainless, this is a great option.

disco veramente 💪 spaventoso, ben fatto ed equilibrato. taglia veramente in maniera decisa e senza saltellamenti, ho tagliato metallo ferroso da 1cm come se fosse burro. la marca DE WALT non si smentisce mai.
