Sega Dreamcast Controller - Blue

The Dreamcast controller arrived New in it’s original box with original instruction manual, and still in the plastic baggie. Original SEGA brand controller. Not an aftermarket or a rebuild. This thing somehow made it 20 years without ever being used.I was very hesitant after reading some of the reviews on this page but apparently these folks must’ve gotten a different seller or something because I have absolutely ZERO complaints. You can’t do any better than brand new in box! I could even smell the old 1999 air when I took the controller out of the baggie for the first time.

I've this controller for about a year now. I got it so me and my brother could play soul calibur together and it's held up well. I haven't had any problems with the buttons sticking or anything like that. My only complaint is that the analog stick doesn't have a pad on it so the little bumps on it can irratate ur thumb after a while and when my brother dropped it, part of the top of the analog stick broke off. I think maybe if a a pad was on it like the psx/2/3 controllers maybe this wouldn't have happened. Other than that I love this controller. Hasn't let me down yet.

I bought this Dreamcast controller and it said it was Like New, but when I got it it was all brown and smelled really bad. It had gunk on it that I had to wipe off. It was awful, and when I plugged it in the left stick was going up and left on idle. Major BS. I would not buy from this seller again unless my life depended on it. If I knew it would be such a waste of money I wouldn't even have bought it.

The analog is a bit off and there is a slight cut in the casing for the cable but the wires are fine, nothing a bit of electrical tape couldn't fix though.

It is actually missing the analog cap and I just realized it, and I don't think it was in the description but oh well I guess you get what you pay for.

I b'ot this in 2001 and still have it to this day, as well as my Dreamcast and Blue VMU. I wish the DC made a bigger splash against the other two, but it still has an awesome controller, that Microsoft and Nintendo would copy off of.

The setup of the Dreamcast controller is cool and it comes in different colors. This one happens to be blue and it's just like the other controllers. It's not hard to get used to this controller and just like the others it can hold tremor packs and the VMUs. The only set back is that the cord comes out of the front instead of the back. There is a little hole that you can put the cord through but it would've been better if it was just put through the back so it wouldn't be in your way while you're playing. Overall, it's a cool controller.

Controller arrived in filthy condition and doesn't work. It will periodically work then suddenly stop. It took 3 Lysol wipes, a couple of Q-tips, and a couple of toothpicks to clean and dig out the dirt and grime collected in the seams. I took great care to not overdue it and avoid exposed connectors and electric parts. The system it's connected to operates perfectly and the VMU is new, unblemished, and has a fresh battery. The packaging of the product was great so I'm positive the controller is defective.
