A lifesaver for a mom of twins
As a mom of twins, I've struggled with handling two active babies at once, at home and on the go. This activity seat has been a real lifesaver - I no longer have to hire someone to help me! I now keep two in the car and two at home. It goes where bouncy chairs and exersaucers cannot. GREAT FOR SMALL SPACES - I've found tons of uses for this seat - at home, it keeps my babies safe in the foyer and within view while I take things to and from the car. It keeps them busy and happy in the bathroom while I get ready or while bathe the other twin. In the dining room, it keeps them entertained while we eat. When not in use, I just close the seats and tuck them into a corner. GOES ANYWHERE - The seat weighs just seven lbs and comes in its own carry tote with shoulder strap and storage pocket. Closed, it measures 30" x 6" x 6". The attached floor pad keeps their feet from touching any dirty surfaces. Two of these should fit easily in a 32" duffle for travel (if it can be carried on a plane as the picture on the box shows it would be great for layovers - I haven't tried this). A great one: High Sierra 32" Drop Bottom Wheeled Duffle EASY TO SET UP - It's a cinch to use - no assembly required, it pops open in less that 15 seconds. Open, it locks into position into a sturdy seat with an ample top - 24" x 24" - just make sure the push pin in the bottom front left leg is out so the seat is locked. AN EXTRA PAIR OF HANDS - On the go, it fits easily in the trunk of your car and can be used in a pinch when the parking spaces between cars is too narrow for a double stroller (so I don't leave one baby alone in front of or behind the car in a stroller while I put the other one in the car seat - I put one in the GoPod next to me). It's also great for doctor's offices. And my favorite, for getting one or two babies and a stroller safely up and down stairs (put one baby at the bottom in a GoPod, the other one at the top, bring the stroller down empty). VERSATILE - Five loops on top can be used for hooking toys (not included) - just make sure they have plastic loops (not strings) - any toy from an activity mat or from the brand Lamaze works well. my babies love the Lamaze Freddie the Firefly, Colors May Vary AGE & WEIGHT - The recommended weight capacity for the seat is 12-26 lbs, for ages 4 months+ (can hold head up to walking age). I'm not so sure about that. I use it for my 7 month-old twins who can sit almost unsupported and they barely reach the floor in the lowest setting. The top of the seat comes up to their armpits. For my 27" 18 lb daughter, who can't reach the floor, I found that putting a rolled up hand towel or blanket in front of her keeps her from wobbling around in the seat. For my 28" son, who can reach in tip toes, the towel in back seemed to work better. The disadvantage is that they tend to want to lie back if they're not able to stand - again, a rolled up towel behind their head helped (bit not ideal). For an average size baby (50% for weight), this seat should be usable up to 18 months. SEAT - The seat diameter is 10 .5 inches and about 10 inches deep. The leg holes are toward the front so your baby sits in it (doesn't hang from the crotch). However, the fabric is flexible, so the baby can tip forward if she's not touching the floor - an important consideration as a younger baby would be swallowed up by the seat. The "table" top is also not level (it sinks down with the weight of the baby), so don't plan on using this for eating or for putting sippy cups in it (regardless of what it says, though cheerios should be Ok) GROWS WITH BABY - There are four height positions, each about an inch apart. At the lowest position, the bottom of the seat is about 6" from the floor, the top, 16". In the highest position, the bottom of the seat is about 10" from the floor, the top about 20". I do wish the instructions were clearer for adjusting the height - it's not readily apparent as it extends above where the crossbars on the corners intersect (not below). It's not hard though, just press the button on each leg and, while holding on the leg, raise the top plastic piece in each corner - a picture on the box shows how. The push buttons that lock each leg in place can be tricky but if you rotate the top corner piece a little it makes it easier to slide and lock the bars - fortunately you don't need to adjust the height each time, it closes on any setting. SURFACE CLEAN - Finally, the material. It's a synthetic canvas-like material that should hold up over time - similar to a duffle's. It's surface clean with water and mild soap (no bleach), air dry. Not practical at all for feeding a baby. I've found that putting a burp cloth on top helps keep it clean as both my babies are teething and drooling a lot. Although it has drink and snack holders, I'd be careful what I'd put in them. In all, a great baby product that I would highly recommend. If it could be used for eating it would be perfect. ** UPDATE 9/8/11 - these seats were great during a recent evacuation for Hurricane Irene, as they held the babies while we scrambled about and then fit in the car with all the supplies - they fit well in the small interior room we used to ride out the storm. This said, my 32" tall, 22 lb 15 month babies are now in the last setting for height, and I expect I'll be able to use these for a couple of more months. I've found that now that they're able to cruise they have figured out how to slide the seat around several inches on the kitchen floor by jumping and twisting around in it. They are also trying to tip it by pushing forward and backwards (not successful yet but one end did lift off the ground a little). Keep this in mind and never leave them unattended or near stairs or near a coat rack. Not sure how to remedy this but it's still the only activity seat that will hold them **

Perfect for on the go families
We absolutely love this travel activity center! Itโs been perfect for trips, camping weekends, and even bringing to family gatherings and older sibling sporting events! The best part is how compact it becomes when folded up โ it doesnโt take up much space at all and is easy to pack in the car. Setup is super quick and simple, and putting it away is just as easy. Our baby is so entertained in it and genuinely loves spending time playing and bouncing around. Itโs sturdy, convenient, and made traveling with a little one so much easier. Highly recommend for families on the go!

Better than an Exersaucer! (Updated 6 Jan)
Before I begin, here's some background information: My daughter has been using this chair since she was 12 weeks old. She is now almost 16 weeks old. My daughter is tall and thin (size 6-9 months). She has been standing, with support, for about 8 weeks. She isn't able to sit completely unsupported just yet (she is able to support her head on her own), so I do supervise her when she is in this chair. Now for the fun part... I like this chair because: I like knowing that my baby won't be overstimulated when she uses this chair. It did not come with toys, but it does have rings so that you are able to attach your own toys. It folds up for storage (much like a camping chair). It is easy to fold up. You just press a small, silver button located on the bottom of one of the front "legs". It easily goes back into the storage bag. The storage bag has a carry strap. The height of the chair is adjustable. However, I have not tried it yet. The fabric is easy to clean with a wet cloth. Your child stands on a mat, which is attached to the chair. This means that you don't have to worry about your child standing on an unclean surface. The seat is very generous. My daughter will definitely be able to use it for a long time. For now, I fold a baby blanket in half, then half again, and wrap it around my daughter for support (and to keep her from leaning forward and putting her arms in the leg holes). The leg holes are generously sized. For this reason, I always make sure my daughter is wearing long pants when she uses this seat. It keeps the fabric from chafing the skin on her legs. The "tray" has two cup holders (see more on this below). The chair is not heavy at all. I have taken it to friends' houses without any issues carrying it, taking it out of the bag, setting it up, folding it away, and putting it back in the bag. There isn't much to complain about. The only con I've found is that when your child sits in it, the "tray" slants down. This will likely cause anything you put in the cup holders to fall towards your baby. ***Update*** My daughter is now six months old. She is now 27 inches tall (as of today). I have learned how to fold this chair one-handed, while holding my daughter. Tip it on its side, push the button in, and push down on the chair at the same time. It's so easy! The Hugga-Bebe Infant Support Cushion (Green) works great if your baby has too much wiggle room! I have had to adjust the height a couple of times (instructions in the manual, which is available on the Kidco, Inc. website, are very clear). It is very easy as long as you push the buttons on the insides of the legs COMPLETELY inward before you twist the tops of the legs (lift the cover to see and make it easier). Otherwise, the legs will not go up and it is frustrating. My daughter is starting to try to stand on her own. I believe that it has a lot to do with how often she uses this chair. I also believe that she stands flat-footed (not on the balls of her feet) because of this chair. The only time she stands on the tips of her feet is when she is trying to climb out (which is not even remotely possible). I have uploaded a video to show you. I am still completely happy with my purchase, and plan on buying one for my cousin's baby shower. Update: DD is now 17 months old (90th percentile for her height), and it's finally time to get rid of it. DD is able to tip it over, and the fabric is starting to tear at the tops of the poles. I got way more use out of this than most of my friends got out of their exersaucers. I'm still super happy about buying this, recommend this product to everyone, and have bought one as a gift.

Easy & super light
Very light, with bag makes convenience. Having this on my shoulder with my diaper bag is really not bad, totally doable. Bring this with me to my older daughters play group which make it convenient for those times to occupy baby and keep safe from running munchkins. You can easily add toys to the loops and fold them in it without making it bigger. Only negative is for smaller babies they weigh it down if they can't stand up. My son is 4 months and the lowest setting is just a bit too tall still but a stiff blanket at his feet helps just to support himself without standing completely. Lookong forward to camping with this. The quality is nice and is easy to use.

Excellent for those who have babies over on a regular basis!!
I bought this for my niece who is at my house two days a week. When I bought this she was 5 months old and she fit fine. It's been 5 or 6 weeks and it's working out great. I don't have small children and I'm single so being able to put away my baby supplies is important to me. The first time her mom saw it she thought it looked very strange, but once she saw her playing in it she was sold. This folds up easily, is very lightweight and easy to carry around the house even with a baby under your arm. The top has loops to attach toys so you can swap them out easily and change them to meet your babies needs. I think it's sturdy and solid. My niece is very active and I have noticed she moves about a bit if she's jumping. I have no worries of her tipping over, although she has scooted next to the coffee table and can reach to grab things. I have hardwood floors and I somewhat solved this problem by putting a small rug with a rubber back underneath. More than once she has "leaned back" and quietly chewed on her tows and then drifted off to sleep so it must be comfortable. It's difficult to describe how the baby sits in the unit. She is "sunk in" so to speak. There is enough support for her to stand and she sits (somewhat reclined) when she wants to. I have fed her her cereal while she was in the seat and just immediately wiped up any spills. The fabric is a nylon canvas and I have found it easy to keep clean with a wet washcloth. I chose this over a bouncy seat or walker because of it's portability and the fact I can pack it away as easily as a folding chair. I think it's excellent. I have purchased a pack and play, bouncy chair (which she has already outgrown) and have a Bumbo seat a friend borrowed me and so far this has been the most valuable. Even if she were my own infant, I think it would defiantly be worth buying for regular use.

LOVE the Go-Pod!
We have had the Go-Pod for a couple weeks now and LOVE it!! I saw reviews saying that babies couldn't reach the floor, but my son is 4 months old and can already "sit" in it and his feet reach the floor with no problem. He is a large baby (about the size of a 6-month old, 27 inches). The height is adjustable, so I'm wondering if those people just didn't move the height to the shortest level?? I'm pretty sure that we could move the height up a notch and he could still reach. It literally takes me about 10 seconds to set the Go-Pod up one-handed (but if you're taking it out of the storage bag, maybe it would take 15 seconds, haha). I love that it is so light and so portable! We also have one of those heavy Fisher-Price bouncer seat things...it is so NOT portable. I can easily set up the Go-Pod in the kitchen, my son's room, etc. and he can "hang out" while I do housework. I also saw reviews complaining that the Go-Pod kind of sinks down toward the middle...that's true, it does, but I don't really think it's a problem. The Go-Pod is made of the same type of nylon stuff that they make camp chairs out of, and the camp chairs sink down when you sit on them too. If your baby were to "stand" (as oppose to putting their entire weight on the bucket-seat), it wouldn't sink down. But it's not a table, so I'm not sure why people think the top needs to be flat. The top of the bucket (I'm calling the part that you sit in a "bucket" because I can't think how else to describe it) comes up past my little guy's armpits, but the bucket is a bit wider than him so he can move his arms without problem (either inside the bucket or up above it). And his head is definitely higher than the top of the Go-Pod, so he can see everything. There's 4 nylon loops on the top, so you can attach any kind of stroller toy with a hook/loop (it's nice because you can switch toys out). I considered giving 4 stars instead of 5 because since my son isn't very good at sitting on his own yet, he usually leans against one side when he's in the Go-Pod. But we've found that we can just prop him up a little with a towel (or just let him lean...he doesn't seem to mind). It would be nice if the Go-Pod came with some sort of pad to help prop up little guys (you can buy a pad if you don't like my towel idea; I've seen them on amazon). And although we haven't used it outside of our house yet, I can see that it would be awesome at the beach, camping, outdoor concerts, etc. When it's in the bag, it is just like a camp chair, so you can basically take it everywhere.

I just love this thing
I just love this thing. I didn't want our house to look like Toys R Us threw up all over our living room... plus I needed something that could travel with us... Pros: Easy: All you do to open and close it is to push the four corners together and pull the four corners apart. So easy. Perfect for people who don't want to have to "put all the toys away" every time baby's done playing... but also don't want a crazy messy living room. Essentially, it's the stationary activity center for the lazy (er, tired) parent!!!`(I put it away with the toyd still attached.) Light: Super-light for travel... or those trips downtown to free movies on the lawn of your city park... Very easy to put it in the travel bag it comes with... Good for baby: Love the loops for toys. Good fit for baby: My baby is 16 lbs and now fits in here. It allows her to stand up, but also sit when she gets tired. She looks a little funny because she's shorter than the edges right now, but the surface slanting down toward her is good b/c it allows the toys to fall toward baby instead of away. Can grow with baby (and save you money!): Because it just has loops, you can change out the toys as the child develops. (I think you can also adjust the height?) Cons: Colors: I'd love more color options. Basic black would have been nice. Or raspberry? I'm such a color-freak that I put off buying this for a long time and almost didn't buy it...The "camping" masculine tones just aren't really doing it for me. Loops: I do wish there were some loops that were closer to the center for the tiniest of baby toys. My wee one gets really annoyed when she can reach a toy, but can't put it in her mouth. Overall: hands-down a must-buy...

Great for Camping
Great for babies who haven't learned to walk but want to be part of the action. We used it for our daughter while camping. It packs up like a camp chair and stows away nicely. It was great for beach days and sitting around the campfire with the little ones. The handy mat underneath keeps the little ones feet nice and clean.

Still in use
We still use this and itโs come in handy on the go. Easy to set up and take down. Just wish the fabric was able too come off for deep cleaning in the washer. Sometimes just a wipe down is not very sanitary. (Babyโs get messy) ๐
