I have long been a fan of Lady Antebellum and I love their music! This self-titled debut album is phenomenal and showcases each band member's talents. Their voices are strong and clear and the combination of their vocals and the instrumentals produce music that is pure contemporary country. Most of the songs on this albums were co-written by the trio and I think that's amazing for their debut to come out this good! I could listen to their music over and over again and believe this group will appeal to most fans of country as well as anyone who just wants some good quality music to listen to, I highly recommend this CD!

My wife saw this group on some morning news show and mentioned that she liked them so I bought her the CD and much to my surprise it's a pretty good little group. I'm not much on new country myself but if you like the modern country you will like this group. I like the fact that they have both a male and female lead singer. Good songs and tight playing make for a four star CD. This comes from an old Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash fan. For me the latest thing that country music has done that really caught my ear is the Warren Brothers so use that as a meter.

from the first single "Love Don't Live Here" until the last song this debut cd by group Lady Antebellum has your attention. Each member of the group brings something extra to the group. The result is a fine first album by a group that people need to pay attention to. They have a unique vocal style (male/female lead) that interchange throughout each song. They write a lot of their own material on this cd. Which is something that you don't really see everyday in some artists. I love the cd and I look forward to not only seeing them live. But to their future recordings as well.

Purchased my first tune from Lady Antebellum years ago. I really enjoyed it, and I'm not a huge country fan. Since I don't have any albums from Lady A, I had to get this one, and I was totally overwhelmed. It was great. On a road trip my wife put it in without me knowing it, and as I was enjoying each track, I forgot it was Lady A. Now that was cool.

What else to say, if a Lady Antebellum fan, this album will not disappoint. A pick-up and mood maker whether listening in the car, home or while exercising. I like the variety of songs, tones, and melodies in this album.

Another Lady Antebellum CD I can't do without!

日本でもヒットした2枚のアルバムを聴いたあと、おそらくデビューアルバムと思われる本CDにたどり着きました。コンテンポラリーカントリーと言えるジャンルですが、アイドル的な女性カントリーボーカリストのものに比べると、日本人が聴いても懐かしい感覚を沸き立たせる点で、「カントリーらしさ」をしっかり持っています。サウンドは現代的です、歌唱も泥臭さはありませんが、音作りや曲作りが良い意味でカントリーライクなもので、楽しいディスクといえます。

Los descubrí por casualidad oyendo una de sus canciones versionada por Adele y me encantan. Mezclan un estilo country al más puro Nashville con un punto fresco que te atrapa.

Die meisten kennen ein zwei Songs aus dem Radio, ich hab' mir diese CD geholt, weil mir "Need you now" gut gefallen hatte (ist nicht auf dieser CD drauf!) Diese Band hat aber weit mehr drauf als die ein zwei Songs, die im Radio liefen. Das ganze Album ist hörenswert, sowohl Sängerin als auch Sänger haben eine kraftvolle, prägnante Stimme. Der Satzgesang ist klasse. Empfehl ich auf jeden Fall weiter !
