The only issue is that it does not really improve the visuals a great deal of some videos on the PS 2. At least not as good as the "before & "after" photos regarding this product, including other products I checked out before purchasing this. However they do state this if you read the info before buying. The picture is improved, just not as much as I was hoping. It is a very easy hook up. One end of the cord fits in the main plug for the PS 2 and the other end is plugged to the device & then to the TV. You will need to change your settings for display on the PS 2 (RGB output) in order to format the picture to the screen. After that you are good to go. No real issues or problems.

I got this as I no longer own a TV with RCA jacks to hook up my PS2 console. It worked perfectly. Easy to hook up and really is "Plug and Play". There is no improvement to the game video quality, but I didn't expect there to be. Others seem to be surprised or disappointed by that but The game video quality is determined by the game DVD so I didn't expect an improvement. My console sat for a few years, but it is back up and working well now because I purchased this adapter so I can use it with modern TV/Monitors. Really worth it!

This thing works great on modern tvs. I don't have any old flat screens or CRTs with RGA or component hookups any more so I needed this to use my PS2. I tested it on both my original PS2 and my slim and works perfectly on both. Audio is incredibly crisp and full, honestly better than I remember, and the picture is... pretty good for not being a CRT. These games were never intended to be played on a modern LCD/LED 4K display, so things look a little more grainy and muddy than you may remember. I have a few suggestions though: - set your PS2 config to RGB output - only use 4:3 aspect ratio to reduce stretching (this is 4:3 or Full on PS2 config) - turn the sharpness all the way down to "0" or "1" in your picture settings to clean up some of the pixels and aliasing - bump your brightness up a little; CRTs did not have deep blacks and so the games might look just a little too dark; bumping those blacks up to grays usually makes it look a lot more like how you remember it - use a bright, colorful, nice-looking game (Dragon Quest VIII, Soul Calibur III, Final Fantasy X, etc.) to tweak the color, sharpness, and brightness to your liking

I had no problems with it. Works great. My only problem is there’s no way to plug the power cord into an outlet. You have to buy a box for it separately

This made the colors brighter and graphics cleaner. I'm very pleased with how this HDMI adapter made my PS2 games look.
