This impact driver is a must for DIY car brakes. Very affordable and reliable. Reason for the 4 store is because i received a used tool. It just came in a plastic bag with a few scratches and rear and tear with no original packaging. I had no choice but to use it since i needed the tool for a rotor job.

This tool was extremely helpful when I was putting new brakes and rotors on my daughter's car. They were the factory installed rotors and had the two rotor screws in there. I tried removing them with a normal screwdriver and they would not budge. I started damaging the screw trying to take it out to remove the rotor. I ordered this impact driver and was able to remove all of the remaining screws with very little trouble. Maybe 8 or 10 taps on the end of the tool and the screw started moving. Just pay attention to the direction you have the impact driver set to move and check it often because it can sometimes switch directions while you're smacking it.

This thing works awesome busting loose rusty fasteners. Have some torx bits for 2001 Jeep Wrangler, with some patience haven’t broken a bolt yet. Easy to use, and seems durable. Good size for hammer surface without it being so small you hit your hand.

It does really well at knocking loose stuck screws. In my particular case, some bmw screws from 1995 that had never been loosened from factory. This made SHORT WORK of the job! Literally the first strike I saw movement. Before I bought this tool I had spent at least 3 hours messing around with the screws and almost stripping them with an undersize phillips bit. This kit came with the correct size bit (I believe it was a Phillips #3) and with that I was able to get a tight grip even on the damaged ones and first strike- movement! I just can't recommend it enough. This would be really good for demolition and stuff too, like dismantling an RV or something, things like that. I will also say that the bits are a good quality in themselves- I was able to adapt one to a normal driver through a series of shanks and a socket, and the bits do well. Overall, good value for the money and with the lifetime warranty, it's a no-brainer purchase. This tool has earned a permanent spot in my toolbox.

For the price this totally beats all the no name Amazon tools! It’s Heavy and Excellent construction makes this ideal for taking screws out of engines with ease! *pictured is the Impact Tool compared to a Normal Screw Driver* The tool worked far better and faster then the screw driver and I barely even hit the top hard with my hammer! I highly recommend you pick one up for brake rotors and the likes! If you want to keep it in working order be general with anything heavier than a ordinary hammer
