*Update: It has been a year and a half and the black has faded to a bronze color. The unit still retains it's tension, however, and the vent bracket has maintained its form. So, it does what it's supposed to do, it just doesn't look the same doing it. *Original review: Has held up to daily use for months now. The articulating head has maintained its tension, as have the springs that retract the arms. The diameter of louver attachment is slightly large, so it would be challenging if your a/c blades are narrow, but mine aren't so it's not an issue. Paint has not chipped or faded.

The clip stayed in the vent great, but the phone dropped down so it was angled more towards the floor. I would reposition it, and it would slowly start to drop down again. That was the only thing I didn’t like. Otherwise, it held the phone securely and was easy to get the phone in and out of.

The mount is a little diff the way it should take to the vent it vibrates off so had to turn it and jam it on the other way now I have had no prob

After two days this could no longer hold up my phone. On paved roads the Google pixel 3 would cause the holder to lose its angle. Good idea but lacks in function.

This is actually the best vent phone mount I've purchased. It takes up less space than other's that I've used in the past and allows the phone to be mounted without covering the entire vent. Holds the phone securely and allows phones to be mounted if you are using a pop socket. I have an iPhone 8 plus. I've purchase more for our other vehicle and for travel.

I really wanted this to work. It was nice and springy. Unfortunately, feet were not adjustable to the thickness of my case and popping on/off was a hassle.

This is abgreat product and looks amazing. It fits my wifes Galaxy S9Plus which is quite big adding the protector cover.

This phone holder had a tendancy to slowly ease out of the vent it's inserted into, dropping to the car's floor, along with the phone. Not good. I've taught myself to double check the insertion before moving the car. I'll be looking for an alternative phone holder. I like that it doesn't block the windshield at all, but the insecurity is troubling. Update 11/6/2019: I've purchased a new holder (Vicseed Car Vent Phone Mount) and am hoping it will be an improvement. The Oatsbasf holder is simply not very secure. Too late to return it, so it'll just gather dust in a drawer till I clean out again.
