Autel MaxiIM KM100X Automotive Diagnostic Scan Tool, 2024 Newest Android 9.0

It has all the functionality that I was looking for in a scan tool, I had been looking at the snap-on scanners without much luck as I would have to buy multiple scanners for what I was looking for. One of my instructors at Nascar technical institute recommended Autel, I then looked through what they had available and was amazed. I choose this one not just because it had everything I was looking for, but because it had more than I expected. Once I finally had gotten it I almost immediately hooked it up to one of our vehicles and found multiple problems that had been miss during my initial inspection and diagnosis. I couldn't be happier with how simple and easy it is to use this device. It's robust so I'm not at all afraid to drop it. And if I ever need help it has built in tech support. I do plan on getting the add-ons for this device later do the road like the oscilloscope, something you have to buy as a separate device with snap on instead of just a separate addition device you just plug into your existing scanner. Once again I'm very satisfied with it.

Sadly, didn't get the chance to receive the unit due to stupid egyptian's customs laws, but I know for a fact (I bought another one here locally) that this is a very capable scan tool that can do most of things a professional tech or mechanic needs. It's far better than Launch in unit design and software wise, functionality and UI. I have a lot of respect and love for Autel tools, and you won't regret it a bit if you buy any of their models.Thinkcar/Thinktool and Launch aren't bad, they are really good, but Autel is far better than them.

The Autel MK906BT does everything that you would need a scanner/diagnostics tool to do. The screen is large and fits in your hands nicely. The information and menus are laid out in a very intuitive way that makes accessing diagnostic information easy to see and understand. The blue tooth feature is very nice when you need to be everywhere else except inside the vehicle when your troubleshooting issues. All in all a good value for the price. The only real con I have would be the cost to update.

I used this on a 2019 Nissan GT-R using the 2017 Nissan GT-R setting on the unit as it does not have 2019 GT-R, and it read all the systems and was able to reset TPMS. I also used it on a 2019 Porsche Cayman and used it to reset the oil service and check it for codes, and then on a 2016 AMG GT-S and it read the codes, but I was not successful at resetting the TPMS on a new set of factory wheels, so that is why I gave it four stars rather than 5. I will have to try again. A great tool with a nice screen and easy to use interface. Note that it takes a long time to do all the updates, but I had no issues with that.

Solid product. Faster than many scanners I've used and easy to use. Does things my OTC can't. With as costly as these scanners are, you'd think the company would do a better job with wording and not sell a product in the US that's written in poor English. Hire a tech writer, Autel.

Scam Warning: If you don't have an active yearly ~$700.00 AUTEL subscription, your AUTEL device becomes a cheap limited OBDII device.AUTEL DECEIVING MARKETING DOES not state that most key features in your device will be disabled if you don't pay ~$700.00 subscription each year.Most key features, like coding, etc. will be disabled and your system becomes an expensive bad investment.I bought my MK906BT a little more than a year ago, and I started using it again recently, and to my surprise, most key features stopped working.I contacted AUTEL, and they stated that without a normally ~$700.00 annual renewal subscription, I would not be able to use any key features on my AUTEL device. .i.e. coding, etc.There is no mention of requiring an active subscription to keep key features working on any of their selling advertising, which make AUTEL advertising highly deceiving.AUTEL needs to clearly state that in order for their system to fully work, it needs a $600/ to $700 annual subscription fee.I apologize for promoting AUTEL in the past, and do not recommend it anymore unless you are a for-profit shop that makes it worth spending $700.00 each year for a subscription to keep its key features working.

I like this scanner because of the blue tooth feature, no more cord preventing me from moving around. it is just the right size, not too heavy and not too light. the side contour and thickness make it easy to hold. Screen is easily read and most functions are self explanatory. I do wish it came with some instructions or user guides. maybe they are available online. I am eager for more vehicles to try this out on.

It is so easy to use, helpful, and it’s worth every penny I pay for it, I’m in love with it :) thumbs up!
