-THIS PARTICULAR LISTING DOES NOT INCLUDE A BATTERY OR CHARGER Review: Works perfectly! - I used this for applying some natural odor control and pest repellent stuff (orange and peppermint oil based). Once you pull the trigger, it takes about three seconds to build up pressure, then sprays a nice steady stream of mist. The mist is propelled by a fairly powerful fan and is coherent and aimable for about 10 feet, then diffuses a lot past that. I stood on the ground and sprayed up to hit soffits and up into my attic crawlspace with no problem. I did the perimeter of my house plus up into the attic and it didn't take one bar off the (large) battery. So, I think even with a small battery you could probably empty the tank before your battery ran out. Next I'll be using it to spray neem oil on garden plants. A couple of very minor cons: it's a little bigger and bulkier than I expected, and it's kinda loud. If you're spraying anything nasty, wear some kind of filter mask, because you're going to breathe some of it. Review: Works Amazingly Well – A Must-Have for Summer Evenings! - The Ryobi Cordless Mosquito Fogger has been an absolute game changer for our backyard! It's incredibly easy to use—just pop in the battery, fill the tank, and you're ready to go. I love that it’s cordless, which makes it super convenient to move around the yard without dragging an extension cord behind me. It produces a fine, even mist that covers a wide area quickly, and best of all—it actually works! Within minutes, the mosquitoes are gone, and we can finally enjoy our evenings outside without constantly swatting bugs. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, and the battery life is great for treating our entire outdoor space in one go. If you’re tired of mosquitoes ruining your time outdoors, I highly recommend this fogger. It’s effective, efficient, and well worth the investment!

Might be good
I just got this today. I read many of the neg reviews and putting this at 1 stars in hopes more people see it. This product can work and will work provided you understand a few things. The first thing we will address is the tank. Reviews have stated that it will split. This is likely due to the type of plastic that its made from. My recommendations is to keep it in a dark area and to prevent any UV light on it when not in use. Do not store liquid in it at all. Always purge the tank and lines. This should solve most problems. Leaking problems in reviews. Since i have not had a chance to strip it down I can not see for sure how the hose is attached to the tank. I am confidant in saying that its likely a hole with the hose fitted tightly. This is common for these type tanks and their systems. The cause of the leaking is due to being over filled and hose shrinkage and or movement in said hose or built up pressure. If the cap is leaking then its likely missing a gasket/o ring. The noise is quite loud as the pump seems to be powerful and the fan is medium. A few things that I can see happening is the hose gets dry rots and cracks which will result in having to open up the case and replace it with much better hose. When I first filled it and pulled the trigger it streamed out due to the massive pressure that built up in the prime. I would imagine that after I purged the system before putting it up and filled it again it would do the same thing. If this is the case then I would recommend that you fill it with some water and purge the system before you dump the water and add your mix of chemicals. This would solve many of these problems. If a person were to flush the system after each use and then drain and put the finger tip on the spray end for a moment at a time it will build up pressure and blow out the lines. The nozzle is kinda poor and plastic. I have another one of those really cheap Ryobi sprayers PSP01B and it has a brass nozzle on it. It seems to do about the same misting power. I might look around amazon when I strip this machine apart and find something that I can adapt to it so that way I can remove the nozzle and allow for a much faster flushing out. As it appears that this is just a tank with a pump and a cheap plastic nozzle with a fan behind it. Replacement parts is still unclear. Yet I do think that for the amount I paid for this it would be cheaper to buy a new one and use the parts for this on something else. $26.70 plus tax. This was cheap which is why I opted to buy one. I will be able to monkey around with this and fix nearly all of its flaws and could even improve it. I am stoked to try this out when spring rolls around.

Pretty good chemical mister.
As a horse owner I'm always trying to get rid of Flys. I do like this mister, it has a blower to really project the mist. I've gone through quite a few of the manual pump chemical sprayers for bugspray. They break frequently and can be pricey. I like that you can use concentrates that mix with water. I have been using permetherin. When the Flys are all over the horses I come out and spray the areas heavy with Flys and can even spray on the horses as this product can be used as a flyspray wipe. My horses even walk over to me when I come out and want to be sprayed. The permethrin will only eliminate Flys it has contact with, and does not really deter the Flys afterwards. But my horses will be covered in Flys before a spray and then afterwards be standing quietly until the next group of Flys come. Lol. The only bad thing I can report is that its a battery killer. I have 2 batteries and a fully charged battery is totally dead after one 10-15 session, where as same battery lasts much longer with yard blower and tools? Also the sprayer will sputter sometimes.

Not as advertised
Does not perform as well as expected. You have to make sure the unit is level for spraying. If you tilt , it does not spay. Purchased 1 and it quit working. They did send me another one. It works, but as mentioned about poor on spraying. I would not purchase another one.

Works good straight out of the box.
I read the many negative reviews but Im thrilled with the product. It is noisy but no more so than leaf blower. It will throw a mist, not fog, up to 7-8 ft. The droplets vary in size but combined with the blower effect it does a good job of penetrating foliage to get to the mosquitos.

works
We use this on the farm to fog for bugs using our own natural safe mix. Works great. Although can be finished at time cuz gets stopped up. But really when it comes to a tool like this this is all there is.

Disappointing performance over time
Worked well for the 1st season (23), worked so-so for the 2nd season (24) and for the 3rd season (25) working very poorly. The unit seems to clog on the filter, see online problems, and there is little chance of cleaning due to accessibility and appears that there are no spares for this part Very disappointing performance
