These are not good blades. The tips will break easily, and the edges will dull fast. That said, it's a lot of blades for the price, and if you wreck blades frequently or easily, as I do, the numbers more than make up for it, dince you'll be changing blades, anyway.

Get these. Nice blades... for cheap! They come all coated with oil, and they are all sharp. What more could you want in a #2 blade?

If you do a lot of crafting, you can never have enough X-Acto blades, and this set delivers exactly what you need. The blade size is standard No. 11, so they fit perfectly in all my hobby knife handles with a solid, secure blade hold and no wobble. The high carbon steel blades are very sharp right out of the box and cut cleanly, which makes them easy to use for detailed work. In terms of durability, they hold an edge well and last through multiple projects before needing to be replaced. Functionality is spot on for a wide range of crafts, from paper and vinyl to light plastics and other hobby materials. Watch out they are very sharp at the tip, size is right. The only thing I didn’t care for was they came wrapped in this very oily paper that of course got all over my hands. Otherwise functional.

I build and paint miniatures, which means a sharp hobby blade is essential to my work! These blades are simply not sharp enough out of the box to be used for anything other than cutting thin paper. Thicker paper requires several passes, and they still end up not as clean as they should with a brand new blade. It takes an amount of effort that is unsafe to cut through even a few millimeters of plastic with the kind of precision I expect from a blade. Slipping with the blade could easily hurt you with the amount of force required to cut through polystyrene. Using the edge of the blade to remove mold lines works well enough, but I typically set aside blades that have been dulled from cutting away pieces of models for this purpose, rather than a brand new out of the box blade. In addition, the backs of the blades have a barb on them, likely from poor quality control during the die cutting process. This means if you choke up and put your thumb on the back of the blade for additional precision and control on cuts, you're going to hurt yourself. The packaging is also questionable. The blades come in a plastic clam shell box that is too large for the amount of blades, meaning they rattle around in the box if it is moved or dropped. The clamshell itself is poor quality and does not actually re-seal solidly, meaning if you drop this, you've got 150 steel razorblades littering your carpet. Most bulk boxes that I have purchased in the past have a physical latch on them, rather than relying on friction to keep them closed. The only positive I can see is that there are a LOT of blades in the box. More than I would probably use in a year, and they fit in any standard xacto blade handle including the retractable ones. These are inexcusably bad, and I feel dumb for purchasing them and not returning them within the return window. I bought them before I ran out of blades and didn't check them out immediately. You can get good steel blades from China, but these aren't them.

Arrived quickly but I am disappointed with the quality. Bought for a paper craft project, the blades seem to lose their sharpness quite rapidly and I have already gone through 5 blades on an A3 sized design that is still has a quarter of it left to do. I have bought another brand and they seem to be a lot longer lasting but time will tell.

I bought these to rip apart the seams in denim jeans. They work as well as the expensive ones. You get so many that it will take forever to use them all. Would definitely buy again if need be.

I do not write reviews for almost all the items I buy from Amazon, mediocre or fantastic. This item is just so terrible that I felt compelled to warn others away from buying this junk. Pulled 4 blades at random out of different sections of the sealed pack to sample. The uneven edge can be seen with the naked eye. Under magnification, horrendously rough finishing can be observed. Nowhere close to even what other off-brands are able to achieve. Buy some thing else. Save your money.
