This is easy to clean and its durability

Does the job and has a smart look although I don't have it on my counter top. Better quality than what you get from the council.

It’s your standard food bin, overall quite like it. It’s small and compact, fits the standard council food bin bags and can go underneath the sink easily. Doesn’t feel like it will fall apart anytime soon which is great. Only complaint is that the lid is a bit too simplistic in the sense that it’s hard to open the bin with one hand (while your other is holding what you’re trying to throw away) so I do wish it was a button press type lid. However for the price I think this bin is worth the money and a really good product.

Replacing an old one

Not much you can say about it, it does what it’s meant to. Seems sturdy enough and stays clipped to stop smells coming out (not that you should leave the contents line enough to smell!). Easy to wash. I’m not sure if the lid is removable for washing and don’t want to break it finding out.

Have been using this for quite a long time now, and can attest to its robustness and usefulness. We use it with a compostable caddy liner, but if it does get messy its pretty easy to clean. The lid continues to 'lock' positively, and does a good job of containing smells until it's time to empty it. The size is fine for the two of us, gets emptied about once a week (though note, we use this for waste that the council collects; we have a separate bin for stuff we can compost in our garden). If this bin ever gets broken, I will replace it with the same model. A wee tip - compostable bin liners can sometimes allow liquid to seep through. I tear up egg boxes and put pieces in the bottom of the caddy before putting the liner in. That way any liquid is soaked up and the egg box pieces can be put in the compost bin with the rest of the waste.

The bin is a convenient size but the one I received had the lid mounted upside down. Must have been made on a friday afternoon. However with judicial application of brute force and ignorance I managed to reseat it correctly. Otherwise it does the job it's intended for.

Lo utilizó para recolectar restos vegetales, café etc para luego añadir a la estación de compostaje. Lo único que no me gusta es la ausencia de una junta "tórica" en el cierre ya que si te demoras mas de una semana en vaciar el contenido escapan mosquitas de la fruta sin abrir la tapa. Por lo demás la relación precio,calidad y utilidad esta ajustada

Other products from Addis have always been sturdy and good quality. Not this. Flimsy and wobbly lid that doesn’t shut tightly.
