Sturdy for pocket carry
Measure your glasses well and if they fit inside this case, you'll be happy with it. It snaps closed and has a smooth finish to slide easily into a pocket. Just what I was looking for.

Case for eyeglasses
Everyday case for my reading glasses. Typically carry in the front pocket of my pants. Case is subjected to heat, friction, and the occasional bump or bang. The spring catch on the hinge will break after about 6 months. The plastic interior liner will start to separate. Case is sturdy and will protect the contents. I replace the case typically at the one year mark. Good value for what I need and the money spent.

Not a bad case.
I like the case. It's a great size and fits most of my readers. However within the first few minutes of using it my thumb caught on the lining and now it is loose. It looks like it was just glued poorly in that one particular spot. I am able to open the case with one hand (this is important since my other arm is currently in a sling and holding anything is painful) and the spring hinges close the case well with the flick of a finger. The item arrived quickly and intact. If needed I would purchase again.

Sturdy outside but it falls apart
UPDATE: I mentioned the lining came loose after the first use. Well after a few months, the entire top of the shell had detached, and after about a year the shell was completely detached and falling apart (see picture). I still like how sturdy the outer casing is, and the hinge action is still very snappy, but I guess the adhesive is not meant to hold up for very long at all. Maybe I could super glue it but I'm just going to find a different case instead. The color and material is what I expected. The case is very sturdy while still being pretty slim, as advertised. I thought I had slim glasses but the case is actually a little small for my frames; I can still fit the glasses in lenses-down but when I close the lid, it compresses the hinges down. Anyway my only real gripe is that the lining came loose from the body of the case after my first use. Most of the lining is still attached; I hope there is enough adhesive to keep the lining from falling apart completely over time but I guess in that case I'll just use super glue.

Overall The Best Option I Can Find
I have bought many of these over the last several years. They seem to only last about 6 months before the inside cracks or the hinge starts to fall apart. I do open and close my case many, many times each day so your mileage may vary. However, for the price I think they are the best option. I just buy more than one at a time, so I have a spare when the first pair inevitably fails.

whatever adhesive there was fine. A minor complaint overall
As mentioned in other reviews, the lining WILL come loose if you leave the case open for several hours at a time. I left mine open overnight to "air out" some faint odor. I was able to press the lining back onto the case with no trouble, whatever adhesive there was fine. A minor complaint overall, as there's not really any reason to leave an eyeglass case open anyway. The case itself seems rather sturdy, definitely better than the older case I'm replacing.

I still like it.
Nice sturdy on the outside but after only limited use ( I mean really limited use...about a week of limited use.) the inside liner fell out. This I read in the reviews so I wasn't supprised. I still like the case due to good closure and sturdy hinge construction. I had just purchased some expensive frameless glasses and I need a sturdy case that would not accidentally open. That fact and being able to size the case to my glasse made this case the right one. I will reattach the liner with silicone adhesive. I got the burgundy case and true to the reviews it is a bit brownish. That's just what I wanted.
