Worked for my needs
Excellent kit. Used to adjust length of a custom throttle, idle return cable purchased years ago that I suspected was too long. Excessive play in the throttle. Smallest barrel in this kit was perfect. Light solder about 1/2โ from the end, snipped off the existing nipple, slid the barrel from this kit, drop of high temp thread lock, good to go. Because this is the throttle return cable, I am confident this is a permanent mod as there is little to no tension applied to this cable. If it were the throttle cable, I might have reservations as a permanent mod. This kit worked for my needs.

Easy fix for any throttle cable
Awesome deal you get everything you need to fix two throttle cables just pull the old wire out slide the new one in cut it to length put the ends on and it's good as new the wire is nice and thick and should last a while. Used it on a Harley but it should work for whatever else you may need it for. I like to keep an extra one of these kits in the saddle bag because you never know when your cable might snap on you and leave you stranded. It's quick and super easy to fix your cable using this kit.

It's acceptable.
Not really what I had expected. But it served it's purpose.

multiple options
Good kit for my vintage bike to have on hand for emergencies in back country. Came in round tin, only thing I added was small allen wrenches in size of retention screws - needle nose pliers and flat/phillips head combo in tool kit already.

The best cable replacement kit for your motorcycle needs!
Finally! A kit that give you the right arrangement of end caps to trim and connect the end of the cable so it does not slip or break! I used this to replace the spring loaded actuator cable on the Christini All-wheel drive kit on my 2008 KTM 530 EXC-R. This kit allows you to move from standard rear wheel drive to 2-wheel drive on a dirt bike, but getting replacement parts for just the cable was not possible. This kit fixed it easily with 2 cable options and multiple cable ends!

Oem better, will get you home...
This worked... For 3 days. It's good for a pinch or for a long trip if you have it on you already. But same work to get the OEM cable for 12$ that is 4x thicker and works great. Will get you home. The cable is thin even the larger one 1/4 OEM size and had to re clamp it 3 times.

Life saving kit!
I was pulling my hair out trying to get a new 1/4 turn throttle to work on a honda carb because the factory cable was too short, this kit saved the day! Modular cable ends with extra long cables included, I'm very pleased! I will be keeping one of these on my trail bike at all times!

No real complaints, nice to have some backup cables.

Not 2.5mm
The cable I got in the tin holder, was 2 lengths of 1.5mm cable. NOT 2.5mm . It was barely enough holding power on the clutch to limp it to a shop. Don't waste your time. This would be suitable for a bicycle not a motorcycle
