Love this Litte Blender
This is a super little blender. It does a good job of mixing up soft smoothies. Meaning those kind of smoothies with mostly soft and easy to blend up ingredients. It can take crushed ice and make it smaller but it has a rough time with full size ice cubes. The driving force for the blades is plastic and be aware that it will eventually break under heavy usage. I like this little blender just because it's so easily portable and lightweight. You can mix something up real easy do a quick rinse and then throw a little extra water and soap inside and blend that and rinse it again and it's completely clean! I got a second one as a gift for a friend's birthday because she liked mine so much. Again, don't expect this to be a Workhorse! I have one of the big brand names that begins with the letter n and that has a super duper motor and Metal drive train type deal and that thing will last forever. But for convenience and quick and easy to use, I reach for this little Hamilton Beach blender each and every time.

Great little blender
This is my favorite travel & home blender. It fits in a suitcase and whenever we travel, I take it with us to make our morning fruit smoothies. It works well on fruits like apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, bananas, avocados, grapes, and berries. Even works on green leaf veggies. Isn't strong enough to work effectively on carrots or other hard veggies or ice cubes. I think celery may be too stringy for it. But you can quickly make tasty fruit smoothies. It's important to wash the cup immediately or it will stain. I gave one to a friend who uses it everyday.

A great little blender
Well I just had to go back in my order history to find this little champ that I have been using for over a year now. I originally bought this because it was a cheap unit just to see if I would use it. Well I use it almost every day for frozen fruit smoothies and making pesto and it works great. Maybe more expensive ones would perform faster and I will upgrade if/when the time comes, but this little thing doesn't seem to want to quit.

Portable & easy-to-use
Great value and wonderful gift for the juicer in your life. This blender is right size for personal use or sharing with a buddy. Powerful motor and not as loud as full size blender. The charging cord makes this a ture portable blender, you can take on the go. I will buy this again and get one for my brother.

Smoke on the Water/Smoothie
I think this might be great for blending straight up liquids, or maybe liquid and a dusting of flavored powder. I purchased it for my Daily Harvest smoothies - essentially frozen fruits and vegetables that I blend with milk or water. Even if I completely thawed the frozen product out (ew), I'm not sure this blender could handle it. Which is fine, as long as you know what you're getting into. In my case, the blender would immediately whir to a frenzied rotation, rejecting anything but liquid and relegating the other items to the top - out of reach of those sinister blades. Aside from the fact that my frozen items were not getting blended, I think the must troubling aspect here was the absolutely frightful sound of a small kitchen appliance out of control - the stuff of nightmares. The aggressive, high-pitched whir was not only incredibly loud and piercing, but seemed disturbed, or vengeful - as if indicating its anger that I'd asked it to blend something including frozen fruit. Almost like it didn't want to work, or was on break, or wanted overtime pay which would be...what? It was a ransom I couldn't satisfy. Every second or so - and by "or so" I mean less than a second - I'd have to stop the whole operation, smush the frozen items down toward the blades with the handle part of a wooden spoon, then start again - for one second. Now, I like to think of myself as a helper — a collaborator, if you will. I'm happy to pitch in and, frankly, flattered just to be included in the process. But this dance was increasing the task's time to about 90 minutes, and I was very late to work on all the days. I'm still trying to streamline things and to be a good helper because the blender is cute (I have the pink to match the eventual smoothies) and practical (the blender cup itself is also a to-go cup with a handy little click-open, secure top that includes the perfect sized opening for sipping! And it almost - almost! - fits in my car's cup holder!). Now, while this plaintive whir is waking my whole neighborhood, I can be confident that I'll know the precise moment when the smoothie is ready thanks to a secret feature unmentioned anywhere in the item's description or instructions (or warnings). It's subtle, and relies not on visual or audible clues. Instead, it uses your senses of smell and touch to indicate smoothie readiness: the unmistakable, acrid fragrance of burning plastic and the searing heat felt when holding the motorized part of the blender down (holding for dear life, I might add, to prevent a reenactment of "Attack of the Mediocre Blender" - the old-timey black-and-white film favorite I'm sure you've all seen). And I've misspoken, because there is an accompanying visual clue: a growing band of white smoke emanating from the little vents (yes, vents for this warning smoke are built in and free with purchase!) and rapidly approaching smoke alarm activation level. Such fun features that innovate by relying on new senses for you to detect that the blending is complete and you don't go a second past the 90-minute blending time, allowing you to enjoy your long-awaited smoothie. Which by now, is warm and has a smoky flavor that does a great job of masking the kale they try to sneak into these smoothies to make them "healthier." No flies on me - I now have a warm, smoky smoothie that tastes as healthy as a cigarette butt! So there, kale! I write this in good fun. You get what you pay for: an adorable blender for liquid and powder (and nothing more) engineered to act as it's own travel mug. Avoid frozen items and ice and you'll love this little gem! ;)

i drink smoothies
I love this little thing. I’ve been making my smoothies in it for the past couple of days and it’s absolutely perfect. it’s really quick and easy to use, easy to store away, and very easy to clean as well. it’s small enough to fit on the kitchen counter and to stay out of your way as well. 10/10!!

I am shocked at all the great reviews, unless I just ended up with a particularly bad unit. I was not expecting much from such an "affordable" blender - but the only reason for my purchase was to blend a single orange a couple of times a day. Not an apple, or carrots, but a single juicy orange. An inexpensive blender could do that, right? Well, technically, it can - with quite a bit of help. I would have to cut up the orange into pieces and make sure some were under the blades. OK, I understand why that would be as it would need something to catch onto when starting to blend. But, then I would have to repeatedly stop the blender and push more of the orange down under the blades - have to do this quite a few times, mushing the orange into more juice as I did it. I have done this twice a day for a couple of weeks. When I look at the base of the unit, it has a lot of white, fuzzy stuff all around the base of the unit. There are also tinges of green. The white particles are coming from the white plastic base attached to the motor. The green pieces are coming from the green, soft material attached to the blender cup. You can easily see the wear of both of these on the unit, so I would expect it not to last long. It might have performed well if I had added a good amount of water or other liquids to it -- but my expectations was that any blender should be able to blend something as soft and juicy as an orange without it causing wear and tear on the blades. I would usually end up with about 8 ounces, and I did not want watered down orange juice from having to add more liquid. As far as the lid goes, I only used it to blend with. I honestly would not trust it staying on when turning up to drink from because it only pushes on without a locking device. That was OK with me since it made it easier to take on and off to keep pushing the orange down into the blades. Also, I would pour the blended orange into another cup. I will try a different blender with higher wattage - turns out this one is only 175 watts. If I try one that is around 350 watts and it does not work well, then I should edit this review to reflect that - but hopefully I can find a small one to blend a single orange! Again, maybe tuis was just defective somehow to start with? I had ordered the blue one, and I will say I think the color is very nice.

Excelente producto

Great for using in my campervan.
Compact and perfect for my camper van. Because of the low wattage required it's easy on my Jackery. Love it.
