I bought these last year to use on my Christmas tree in Egypt where the voltage is different from most lights I can purchase here. Having the solar power made it a win-win. Each day the panel would be fully charged by the reflected light into our apartment and the lights would turn on as the sun set, glowing a magical twinkle well into the night. I bought a second set with this purchase to extend the Christmas magic over our sliding door. It solved the electricity problem and they never failed to work, giving us a beautiful tree and surround.

Very easy to install solar works well and turns on at dark. The actually selection of Patters does not work well. They claim a certain number of patterns.. We could only find 4. Also for some reason it changed the pattern we had selected by itself. We had to re select. But for the price they are amazing good. Will be interesting to see how long they actually last.

The media could not be loaded. We used our 1st set, purchased four months ago, for a home-made heart we hung from our deck after our COVID-19 "shelter-in-place" orders. The lights have gone through a few inches of snow and numerous spring and early summer rainstorms without any issues. During isolation, we used four pine tree trunks to build a fairy community and ordered two more sets to add some evening magic. The lights are very pretty (we ordered white) and last throughout most of the night, even after charging on rainy days. We're thinking these will also work great for our screen house and we're starting to think of projects for the holiday season. The possibilities are endless!UPDATE: 14 months since our original purchase and they're still going strong! And they've been through several serious snow storms, a nor'easter, and a few brutal rain / wind storms! The additional two sets are only used during good weather, but are also doing great. Just ordered two more sets. Obviously pleased.

They are installed along my driveway fence. I live out in the country and it is hard to see where to turn in at night time. These are a faint blue white color. They have lasted a long time now, but they are not as bright as I would have liked

The lights have various programmable sequences but you have to figure them out for yourself because no instructions are included. I would advise going into a dark room and running through the sequences there before you install them. That way, you don't have to go out after dark and figure out what sequence you want.The quality of the light is very good and they withstood a fairly high wind storm (50+ mph) shortly after installation. They are typical LED blue-white spectrum which looks very nice to me.I only gave 2 stars for ease of installation because no light strings are easy to install.

One string is already failing to work and Amazon had to send me a replacement. The other two strings of lights are starting to dim and don't last the whole night.Poorly made. I wouldn't buy them again.

This is my 2nd time purchasing these lights because they are tried & true. The lights may seem small but they are plenty bright & I can leave them up year round. Living in Colorado has an advantage with many days of sun even in winter. These are intuitive to assemble & just have to determine what mode you prefer. These will blink, stay lit or fade in & out to give a nice variety. Anytime we can use solar power is a win/win.

I went with one long string instead of two short ones so that I only had to manage a location for one solar panel. It took a very long time to wrap an arbor with that long of a string. Once up, they looked perfect--for 3 nights. I set them up on the steady setting, so no blinking or twinkling, or flashing, or fading in/out. On the 4th night, they were cycling through ALL of the settings. I went outside, restored them to the steady setting, and they stayed that way for the rest of the night. The next night when they came on, they were cycling through all of the settings again. I fought this for a week, going out every night and resetting them, then just turned them off as the flashing lights looked ridiculous. I give up. I'll need to spend an hour unwrapping the arbor--but I just keep hoping they will magically fix themselves.
