I have used other products from this company. They always work as described. In anticipation of another person joining the conversation. I purchased this to make the connection for two people. Still don't have the second person. But at least I have the right part.

Doesn't work
Produces a horrible screeching squeal while plugged into the mic port.. maybe mine is just defective. But definitely doesn't work

This tool really comes in handy for interviewing or co-hosting. It works great and I recommend it.
