DonJoy Legend SE-4 Knee Brace - ACL Knee Brace - Left - Medium

Bought the right knee version after ACL surgery 7 years ago for skiing 6 months after ACL replacement. Tore the left ACL 40 years ago in high school and never got it repaired (back then they couldn't replace it). Skied with a cheaper brace on my left knee for years and felt a little pain. Decided to use the ACL brace on my left knee and it worked great. Full support and no pain while skiing. This is not their brace made specifically for skiing, but it was less expensive and worked fine. One downside is when your knees are together skiing the brace bumps the inside of the opposite knee. That might be a reason to buy the brace made specifically for skiing that might be designed to address that issue. I plan to use this brace for the occassional basketball or touch football game as well. I highly recomend this brace for anyone with ACL problems. It works significantly better than the braces with metal hinges you can by at sporting goods stores.

Awesome brace for ACL tears. I'm very pleased with it, and it's water proof so you can swim with it on. The only bad thing is that it's got a rubber coating on the outside of it so it will rub a spot on your pants.

This has revolutionized my workouts and soccer goal keeping practices. I am so impressed witht he design, stability and comfort. My knee no longer is sore or has issues due to shifting ACL. I didn't want to have surgery because it causes a cycle of endless scar tissue formation and removal. My kneee still "snaps, crackles, and pops, but it is not strained or under the pressure of wrong movement any longer.

I needed a good quality functional acl brace after a complete tear. Price for open box from Amazon was a bargain and brace was new. I've been using it while healing and doing physical therapy. Now wearing it at work. It can be worn over a sleeve or leggings and is ok to get wet if needed.

This provides good support, when it is in place. But I was never able to walk more than a block before it slipped down below my knee.

Ordered this for our daughter, who recently tore her ACL, MCL and meniscus in her knee during a basketball game. We ordered this to help her keep her knee stabilized while she waits to have surgery, and also for after she recovers for playing basketball. We measured exactly as told, and the brace was too small when she tried it on. The size chart states that a size "Small" is up to 18.5 inches for the thigh diameter (measured 6 inches above the middle of the knee cap). Her diameter is 17.5 inches- and the hard, plastic part across the front of the thigh was not nearly wide enough- it pinched into her thigh on both sides and would not lay against her skin. We put it on exactly as the directions instructed to. Had to send it back. Very frustrating, because we paid extra for quicker shipping because she was going on a field trip with her class and the extra support would have been nice. Now we have to return it, and we lost the money we paid for faster shipping- even though we went by the size chart provided. For this price, I would have expected a much better fit.

My son plays high school football and hyper extended his knee in a game and this seemed to work great for him until he tore the acl in the knee he wasn’t wearing it, donjoy has great products and can’t wait for him to get fitted for the better ones they have

sent wrong leg and will not stay up on the other leg
