Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Scampy would eat his tea in around 30 seconds whereas the video shows how much better he is, as it now takes over 5 minutes and he doesn't lose interest. Shame we didn't buy this when he was younger as he's now 10 years old. Eddie didn't need one as he's slow anyway as you can see in the video.

I know these are intended for dry food however I brought these for my cats to stop them eating their wet food till they are sick,It slows feeding down and no more sick from over eating. Difficult to clean if you use wet food but soak in sink resolved that.So I'm happy not to step in a pile of sick on the stairs or get out of bed in the dark and step in it😫 anyone who owns a cat will appreciate what I am on about......

I shopped around for a bowl to slow my gready lovable fur baby down. I didn't want to spend a lot of money incase it didn't work. This was the one I found. It's amazing value for money, lovely colour and does the job perfectly. I thought small when it arrived, but it fits all his food in no problem. He gets 300 grams of raw twice a day. The only issue which isn't a problem is the grips on the base to stop it slipping fall off. I have glued them myself but still drop off. As I say it's no problem as I have a non slip mat. Get a bargain, it works 👍

We have two cats, one who eats in seconds without swallowing, and one eats a little bit, takes a break, and eats some more, saving his food until the next serving.Unfortunately, cat #1 uses this to his advantage and immediately moves to cat #2's bowl once his own is empty. We've tried several things, including putting #2's bowl on a high place, as #1 doesn't jump very well due to an old hip injury.This worked a little bit, but not enough.Cue this bowl. While it certainly works, it is not as expected. Cat #1 started out very wary, and frankly, annoyed that his humans would do this to him. In the end he figured it out and now he eats.By knocking a kibble out of the bowl and eating it. Knocking a second kibble out and eating it. He keeps digging in the bowl until kibble falls on the ground, and he gobbles it up with that scrunching noise of people eating crunchy food with their mouth open.Well, at least this takes a while, giving cat #2 enough time to finish his food before it is stolen...

Good for getting the cats to eat slowly. They are fed dry food. They can’t normally get the last bits out in certain areas. but I assume as they don’t have as long tounges as dogs. But as dry food is ok to wait until next time they are feed so doesn’t go off.The ‘non slip’ feet are tiny and do not do the job. I always find the bowl half way down the corridor when the cats push against it to get out the food.Does the job ok. Could be better but for the price ok, I am still using it.

Bought this for my mom's springer who doesn't know how to eat food she inhales it and after spending a fortune on food she doesn't seem to put on weight and looks very skinny. However after giving her this bowl we timed her and took her 5 minutes to eat but usually would be 30 seconds. Very happy with the product and have noticed a different in her size after just a week. Would recommend 👍🏼

Product sounded great but 1) weight is not sufficient for pet ,hence moving around floor which in time would frustrate any pet with possibility not wanting to finish meal.2) Underneath bowl the area for sticky non slip pads isn’t large enough area , so larger area needed on pruduct and larger pads so your pet cannot keep in place while eating.3) some area’s is to tiny I eating compartment for a puppy to eat and slightly tricky to wash for hygiene reasons4)Has slowed pet down and now not got windy burps5)Hence star ratings/with these minor adjustments it would be a great product

Good product takes my dog twice as long to eat which is good for digestion.For the price it’s a good product - My only issue is that if it was heavier it might not “walk” along the floor as my dog eats! Or perhaps it should have a rubber rim all the way round underneath not just the 4 little bits supplied.
