Worked as I hoped in my UDM Pro paired with COX 2.5G port modem. Still shows as 10G on UDM side, but modem properly shows 2.5G link speed on port 4. Speedtest from UDM looks glorious. Let’s see now how long will it survive. Other 10G module I tried before couldn’t link up with 2.5G port on the modem.

Connects at 10gb with no issues with Ubiquity fiber hub to unvr.

Works well on Ubiquiti end of equipment. Had issues when using with Mellanox cards (ConnectX-3). Would attempt lengthy auto-negotiation and sometimes fail (though this item is not specifically listed as compatible with Mellanox). On the Ubiquiti end, we use these since they seem to support 1,2.5,5,10gb. You may need to tweak the settings in UI to unlock certain speeds. UI will show 10gb for link speeds of 2.5 and 5gb.

I had two mikrotik routers using the mikrotik SFP+ to RJ45 transceiver and the routers would get loud with the fans at 100% almost all the time. I looked for a lower voltage, therefor temperature, transceiver. This device popped up in my searches. So far, it does 10GB fine, and my fan noise has gone way down. Fans only go to low or medium at the most and the temperature of the device is lower. 10GB RJ45 Ethernet with lower power, works great. Slid in the SFP+ ports iwth no issues and the Cat6 fit fine on the other end.

This transceiver worked well for me for 10G ethernet. I used it in my Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Enterprise's SFP+ port, connected at the workstation end to an AQC107-based 10G NIC. My (unscientific) iperf testing showed Tx/Rx rates in the 7-9 Gb/s range. It also displayed power and temperature info in the switch's UI (which not all of these transceivers do). However, as others have noted in their reviews here: If you're looking for a <10G transceiver, your success with this one may be hit-or-miss. At least on my UniFi switch, when negotiating below 10GBASE-T speeds I consistently saw receive throughput at around 60% of what it should have been (though transmit throughput seemed unaffected). I observed the same behavior when testing various 1Gb and 2.5Gb USB ethernet adapters. I don't know if this could have been fixed with a settings change somewhere or if it is just unique to certain switches, but since the manufacturer advertises IEEE 802.3bz/NBASE-T support I expected it to just work at full speeds. In summary: I'd recommend this transceiver if you want it only for 10G, but if you need to negotiate at anything lower than 10GBASE-T you may encounter lower than expected receive throughput depending on your particular setup.

I got this for my ubiquiti Dream Machine. It allowed the fastest connection possible and was a simple plug and play solution. Used every day for over a year and no issues with it. Recommended considering the price! Other options would have required me to change my configuration and or buy $1000's of new equipment. It plugs into the device perfectly, and doesn't have any issues.

I've been using the 10GBase-T SFP+ Module for almost 6 months and performance and reliability has been great. I use this in my Mikrotik switch to connect my switch to the Bell Gigahub for outbound internet and it has been working great. No issues at negotiating at 10Gbps over Cat6 and I haven't had any dropped connections.

Used in QNAP QSW-M408-2C switch to provide a 3rd 10G port.

Got this to connect the 10G port on the Bell homehub 4000 to my pfsense box since that cant be bypassed anymore as bell no longer provides a GPON. Was able to connect this to a BCM57810S SFP+ NIC on my pfsense box and have it sync at 10G without any messing around. Has been working perfectly for a few weeks now and no complaints at all. Recommended!!

I have two of these Wiitek transceivers. One works without issue in my Dream Machine Pro. The other was supposed to be installed in my TP-Link switch, but it didn't work. The product listing indicates that it will work with TP-Link, but that was false. I have a TP-Link SG3210X-M2 switch which has two 10G SFP+ ports, but the Wiitek adapter wouldn't work with it. The cheapo transceiver I purchased from AliExpress worked flawlessly.
