Danny Phantom: The Complete Series

Best Cartoon Ever!
First off, I want to say I absolutely LOVE Danny Phantom and it is by far my favorite cartoon of all time (can't really explain why - it's just that good). It's unique, action-packed, and comedy all rolled into one show. The main characters are relatable, having real high school problems, as well as other-worldly problems. Overall, great show for kids, and adults who are young at heart =)Now for my review of the DVD. Love the packaging, cover and disc arts, and it does in fact have ALL 53 episodes (that includes a count of 2 episodes for each double episode). The discs appear to be taken straight from the earlier released single season sets, but as long as all of them are there, it works. As others previously mentioned, the set does not include an index of the episodes included so I decided to go through all the discs and make my own. And for the people questioning the correct order of the episodes (based on air date) the number in parentheses next to the episode title states where it should lie in the season's order.Season 1 - Disc 11. Mystery Meat2. One Of A Kind (3)3. Parental Bonding (2)4. Attack Of The Killer Garage Sale5. Splitting ImagesSeason 1 - Disc 26. What You Want7. Bitter Reunions8. Prisoners Of Love9. Maternal Instinct (17)17. Lucky In Love (16)18. Life Lessons19. The Million Dollar Ghost20. Control FreaksSeason 2 - Part 1 - Disc 11. Reign Storm Pt. 1 (4)2. Reign Storm Pt. 2 (5)3. Doctor's Disorders (2)4. Identity Crisis (6)5. The Fenton Menace (7)6. Pirate Radio (3)Season 2 - Part 2 - Disc 17. Memory Blank (1)8. The Ultimate Enemy [Double Episode]9. Phantom Planet [Double Episode]I hope this list helps others like me and I encourage you that if you are reading this to decide whether or not to buy this set, don't think about it anymore and just buy it! You won't regret it and hope you enjoy the series as much as I have!

Completely impressed with the video/audio
This review is not on the show itself. If you are reading this, you are a fan. I'm reviewing the quality of the picture and sound. The quality of the video is extremely good. So, sharp, vibrant. The sound is great too. Shout! did an excellent job of transfer to DVD. I've seen other DVD renderings that were HORRIBLE. Take Avatar the Last Air Bender series. That video transfer was TRASH!!! I ended up buying the Bluray version because the DVD was horrible. If Shout!! put out the Avatar series, I bet it would've looked incredible just like this one does.My only gripe is that the last disc won't read correctly in my player. All other ones were great.

Who *You* Gonna Call?
How the H-E-double-hockey-sticks did I miss this show when it was on the air? Obviously it was intended to compete with "Kim Possible", but I think, (and all you KP fans out there, please don't maul me for saying so) but this is the better show.14-year old Danny Fenton has a good life, a good (if eccentric) family, and the most loyal friends anyone could ask for. His physicist father has spent most of his life studying the Purgatory-like "Ghost Zone" and even building a prototype portal to access it. However, a freak accident upon it's activation causes it to open and close at random, releasing it's denizens into our world. Fortunately, for us, the same explosion gave Danny ghostly powers (flight, invisibility, walking through walls, etc.) and now, its up to Danny, his techie buddy, and his moody girlfriend (although they aren't ready to use *that* word just yet) to keep the world safe, and to get through freshmen year in one piece. I will never complain about my school years ever again!I loved this show from beginning to end! The animation is stellar, the writing is crisp, clever, and guffaw-inducing, the voice acting is believable and compelling, and I can't say enough about the characters themselves. The villains themselves are alone worth watching for; most of whom would give the Avengers a run for their money: a Boba Fett-like mercenary, an overzealous genie, a glam rock chanteuse with hypnotic powers, cryokinetic Yetis, an Esperanto-speaking werewolf, a dystopian future version of Danny himself, a General Zod-like mad scientist with identical powers to Danny, and the "Box Ghost" (Don't ask) Just watch this show!

This Collection is Indeed Complete
Awesome set. Just to clarify some of the negative reviews I've seen, I want to assure fans that this set is complete and includes all episodes. Season 2 is a mess in regards to episode order and volume distribution but each episode from season 2 is in this set. When season 2 was released as individual sets, both volumes had duplicate episodes but that was all corrected for this set. By getting rid of the duplicate episodes they were able to redo season 2 as 3 discs (volume 1 has a singe disc and volume 2 has 2 discs) instead of 4 discs. In all honesty, they could have easily gotten rid of the who volume system and just labled the discs as season 2 discs 1-3 so fans won't be so confused. The only frustration fans may have is with the episode order for season 2 but other than that all episodes are there. So glad to finally own the series

Good quality
I loved Danny Phantom, I've watched the entire series three times before but my boyfriend hasn't, he's heard of it and always wanted to watch it but couldn't. So I got it for his birthday:)
