Perfect Temp Control OEM quality
OEM Thermostat fit perfectly for 5VZ-FE, V6 engine. Does not come with gasket though. The Toyota gasket part# is: 16325-62010. You can also use a Fel-Pro gasket 35445. Installed with the jiggle valve at the 6 o clock position per FSM manual. Purchased to alleviate a P0128 code. (also changed the engine coolant temp sensor 89422-35010) Engine temperature is now controlled between 192F and 194F.

Great price for OEM.
Just in time for my timing belt job. Worked great and my temp has been no higher that 192. Don’t forget to face the jiggle valve at 6 o clock.

Not sure if this is OEM?
Just received my OEM thermostat for my 02 Tundra. Upon inspection it doesn't have the Toyota stamp on it like an oem shows in pictures and the top part of it is made slightly different than OEM. I'll try this out and give an update... Update: this is an OEM thermostat for toyota. Installed already and works perfectly

Genuine OEM Toyota
I have worked in parts sales my entire career, and these guys are professional. The thermostat is a genuine toyota part and very nicely manufactured. You can clearly tell the difference between aftermarket and oem as the aftmkt ones are chinsy little pieces and these oem ones are are pretty heafty for a thermostat. So overall quality is very good, and Modern Toyota is awesome to work with they got my part shipped to me 3 days earlier than their "earliest estimated delivery date".

Beware of imitations!
This is the only thermostat for the Toyota 3.4L engine that works! Having battled an over heating problem for almost a year after I had my timing belt replaced, new water pump and thermostat (2 of them) installed by a local shop, I finally did some redneck trouble shooting and removed the thermostat completely, and that solved the over heating problem. Ordered an OEM thermostat, and as soon as I opened the box I saw a huge difference (the link to upload photos doesn't work). The bimetal spring on the OEM thermostat is about twice that of the one on the generic one. Further research let to more understanding of the issue. The OEM thermostat is described as a high flow thermostat, whereas most others are not. Well worth the money! If I can upload a photo I will do so later.

Nothing but genuine Toyota
There are some things you just don’t go off-brand. I’m not messing about with the coolant system. Replaced the radiator, hoses, fluid, and cap for 2001 4 Runner back in 2018. Still going strong Everything was genuine Toyota but the fluid. I’ll take made in Japan over made in China 24x7x365.

Product is as advertised, hard to beat OEM quality. The seller took over two weeks to ship and another two weeks to arrive.
