GD IRON GRIP Hand Grip Strengthener (Adjustable hand grips for strength training) Wrist and Forearm Strength Trainer

I’ve only had it a couple of days, so far though I’m impressed. It’s a beast. It’s heavier than most, sturdy & solid. Everything looks well made. But it all looks well designed & practical. It’s easy to change the resistance. Easy too, to close or open up the gap to suit different hand-spans. I looked at other reviews & saw others comment on the roughness of the handles. They are rough, great for grip but I could see they would mess up the skin. I applied a strip of Zinc oxide as a neat wrap around each of the handles & it’s perfect. Still grippy but without the rough edging.

Build quality and design is flawless. You can adjust the resistance and the width of the grips. This is a true buy it for life product, doubt I will ever break it. Only issue seems to be that the grip itself is quite painful to use, not sure if it's designed that way on purpose, but for now I have taped over. Doesn't change any resistance aspects, just the abrasiveness on the fingers.If you're looking for a grip trainer and you're happy with the 25 - 80KG parameters, I would 100% recommend this product. It's probably the most premium quality on the market.

I don’t write reviews very often but on this occasion I want to say how pleased I am with this product.It functions perfectly but more than that is very well designed. The material selection, colours/surface finish are all excellent. I particularly like the grip knurling; aggressive but not too much and perfect for the application.As for value, if I lost it, I would buy it again.Great job!

Its excellent adjustability also sets it apart, making it a versatile tool for anyone serious about improving their grip.However, as many others have noted, there's one significant initial hurdle: the texturing on the grip absolutely kills your hands when you first start using it. It's incredibly coarse, and you'll definitely feel it. Some users opt to tape up the handles, and I can completely understand why. Personally, I found that if you ease yourself into it and don't overdo it in the beginning, your hands do adjust to the coarseness over time and build up resistance. It's a question of whether you're willing to endure that initial discomfort or prefer a smoother grip from the get-go.Compared to cheap plastic alternatives, the GD IRON GRIP feels fantastic. It doesn't cramp my hands, which was a common issue with lower-quality strengtheners. The three levels of adjustability for the handle gap are also a brilliant feature, allowing for a highly customized fit regardless of your hand size.I can genuinely see this being the only grip trainer you'd ever need. Instead of accumulating several non-adjustable grippers or constantly replacing flimsy plastic ones that break easily, the GD IRON GRIP offers a comprehensive, durable solution. While the texture can be quite painful initially, it certainly provides excellent grip – there's no slippage even when your hands get sweaty. That said, I still entirely understand why many people choose to use tape on it for comfort.

If you want the best tool to excercise your hand grip than this is the universal tool to get. Fantastic quality, 6 very easily adjustable resistance levels, perfectly smooth operation (no squeeking, completely silent when in use), constant resistance from initial stroke to full (unlike traditional grippers which start easy/light at initial stroke), 3 adjustable stroke ranges, perfect knurling on handles, both handles close in-line (unlike traditional grippers which have offset handles). If you want Rolls Royce class of hand gripper I think it’s worth every penny. The Korean GD company created a reality perfect product. It’s a little on the expensive side but the quality of this product I think warrants it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to improve hand grip. The quality of this product even makes you want to use it more than necessary. Thanks GD.

I have owned two of the other style of 'trigger' grip strengthener, they are all made of plastic with metal spring and on both occasions, they have exploded as the plastic fractures and breaks. On the second occasion, I was holding the strengthener towards the ground below my seat - one bitten, and all that. This version, on the other hand, is entirely made of metal and robust beyond words. It's heavy and I cannot imagine it letting me down. The only two small flaws it has; the handles are circular and metallic. As such, it's a little tricky to hold and you need to make sure you have 100% dry hands or it can be slippery to touch despite the textured surface. It would have been better to have a more ergonomic surface. Secondly, the load goes up in increments; 25kg, 36, 47, 58, 69 and 80kg. There is no in-between. Other than these two minor niggles, I would say if you are looking for such as a device to improve grip and strenthen forearms, this is the one.

Great build quality feels tough and long-lasting. Super easy to switch weights, which makes workouts smooth and hassle-free, I would have to use a cloth just because the texture on the grip is a bit harsh but other than that this is perfect

Very good quality product, would recommend either wearing a non slip glove or as I have done apply a non slip tape, as fingers slip on metal handles making it easy to get blisters if used often. I bought Senston racket grip 5 pack £6.99 also on amazon, very easy to apply and it gives a much more comfortable grip without rubbing against your fingers. Very pleased with build quality of this product, it's not cheap Ch****e

Met dit apparaat doe je geen miskoop. Oer degelijk uitgevoerd en met genoeg weerstand voor de sterksten onder ons. Ik ben blij met dit apparaat en kan me niet voorstellen dat het geen jaren en jaren mee gaat.

As someone dealing with damage to a pulley in my hand, this has genuinely helped me regain some of the strength I'd lost over the years. On the softest setting, it's just enough resistance that I can comfortably use it for an hour at a time without any issues, which has made it easy to build up a consistent habit rather than overdoing it and setting myself back. The adjustment range is great too, letting you increase resistance incrementally rather than in big jumps, so you can progress at a pace that actually suits your recovery or strength goals.My only real gripe is the knurling gets quite aggressive at higher strength settings, and it can start to cause some discomfort in the hand during longer sessions at those levels. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you're planning on working up to the higher resistance settings regularly.Overall a really solid tool that's made a genuine difference for me, just ease into the higher settings and keep an eye on how your hand feels.

هذا أفضل اداه التمرين السواعد بس يبيلها واحد متمرس او يكون عندك اداه غيره اذا قوية سواعد تاخذه المقبض مناسب الحجم يدك تقدر تغيره من في قياسين عموم مناسب الى ايدهم صغير وبعد الى يدهم كبيره النقبض من الالمنيوم فيه نتوء مثل الدنابل او البار فالنادي علشان ماتنزلق يدك اذا عرقة عيبه اذا كثرة التكرارت يجرح يدك يبلك تلفها بشريط

Es caro pero la calidad es increíble, nada que ver con la basuras chinas de plástico ,se nota con el peso que tiene nada más cogerlo, todo hecho de metal. Si lo tratas bien durará toda la vida.Tengo el de 80kg y no paso de la 3 posición de las 6 que tiene (tengo las manos y muñecas pequeñas, por eso lo compré).La graduación de pesos.es bastante ajustada, aunque no es exacta.Tened en cuenta que el mango metálico al ser estriado, agarra muy bien pero se clava y hace daño al ponerle peso, hay algún comentario al respecto de otros compradores. Yo le hice un apaño cubriéndolo con espumilla y esparadrapo encima y cuando se rompa le pondré unos grips de raqueta de tenis.
