I'm an avid backyard birdwatcher. I feed a variety of food and the Rani peanuts are my go-to favorite treat to offer, especially for the Bluejays. They're whole not chips or pieces and excellent quality. I was buying the 5# bags but switched to 10# with the fledglings now coming to enjoy them.

I bought the Spanish grade raw with skin. They were fresh and tasty. I roasted them for 12 min and got rid of the skin using a hair dryer outside the house.

These premium shelled/dried/raw "Spanish" peanuts are such a wonderful, very affordable alternative to the in-shell, "green" [fresh] versions. It's impossible to buy green/fresh peanuts in my region of U.S. I love Valencia peanuts for boiling. However, they're super expensive & only available for shipping from one company in New Mexico. That vendor charges a lot more in shipping than the actual peanuts are worth - yikes!! Thus, Amazon Prime free shipping rocks yet again. I couldn't be more pleased with the substitution of these Spanish peanuts for the Valencias. I have a new fave! I don't review a lot of my Amazon purchases, but I felt compelled to do so for this product. After my Google deep dive: 1) with no real data, for using raw, de-shelled peanuts as boiling peanuts & 2) no recipes found for these...I am thrilled that I took the gamble on buying this product. This Rani 5 lb bag arrived super fresh, very clean, skins & pnuts were intact (not a bunch of broken pieces or missing skins) & pest free. The heavy duty bag was well sealed & also intact. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality - wonderful bargain for the price. I have been so desperate for easily available boiled pnuts since leaving the south. I had no alternative but to buy the canned "Peanut Patch" brand. They are so expensive, and the quality is terribly lacking - 60% of the can is broken & so mushy you can't eat them. I'll never have to buy Peanut Patch brand ever again - yaay! I am thrilled that my scouring of Google, and being dissatisfied with that research, resulted in my trying this Rani brand. I winged it on the “boiled” recipe, but my 1st batch turned out so great. I've made traditional shell-on boiled pnuts before, so I just guesstimated the salt content & closely monitored the cook time/resulting texture desired. My first attempt using these de-shelled peanuts resulted in TOTAL PERFECTION. I'm sure they'll be lovely for any other recipes, dry roasting, brittle, etc. I am so happy with this Rani brand that next time I will buy the 10 lb bag they offer (slightly reduced $.02/oz.), instead of the 5 lb bag.

These have become my new favorite nuts. I spread about a cup and a quarter on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 oven for exactly 20 minutes. I tried 15, 17 1/2, and 20, and there's no doubt in my mind that 20 is perfect for me. Then I let them cool for an hour until all heat and moisture is gone. I store them in a jar on the door of the fridge and add a couple of teaspoons to my smoothies. Of all the stuff I put in a smoothie, nothing improves the flavor and texture of the smoothie like these nuts.

They are great! Lots of skins of course, which can't be helped. They are very delicious though. They have a light, sweet flavor and are absolutely delicious!

These peanuts are very durable, and great for roasting in oven. The condition upon arrival absolutely splendid. Am over the moon on its versatility, and healthy benefits...well worth every penny.

Great for homemade Peanut Butter! Toasted for ~15 min, removed skins from 60-70% of them, then blended with salt in a good food processor for 10-15 min. Made the BEST peanut butter I've had!!! Roasting before using gives them a seriously great flavor. Can't believe how delicious the Peanut Butter turned out!

These peanuts were bought for squirrels feed. Neither the squirrels or birds will eat them I’ve never had this problem before.
