Bonide Go Away! Rabbit, Dog, & Cat Repellent Granules, 3 lbs Ready-to-Use, Keep Dogs off Lawn, Garden, Mulch & Flower Beds

Well I never used a repellent and I wanted a safer product. I knew it was needed because in the morning some of my pots were upside down from creatures of the night. I had started with Solar deterrents all around my property because of moles. But I realize many other creatures are out at night moles,squirrels, owls,even geckos and snakes. Using this powder has really put some control in my yard. The only thing is to apply when there is no wind otherwise it may blow in your eye's and nose. (It tends to burn) But I feel it's worth the effort and time to protect all my plants. So, I recommend this product for anyone who wants to be a Happy gardener.

I purchased Bonide Go Away hoping it would keep dogs out of my lawn, but unfortunately, it didn’t work at all. A dog was still able to enter my yard despite using the product. I expected it to help deter dogs, but it failed to do what it was supposed to do. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this product if you’re looking for an effective way to keep dogs off your lawn. A waste of money.

Works okay. It does have a strong scent among initial application. I found myself coughing also because of the dust from the pepper. But even then, the longevity claims from the packaging does not appear true in my case. This doesn’t even last 3 days in my opinion. I sprinkled heavily one area near my bushes and I still found dogs going near it and sniffing the area. I thought the scent or residual pepper dust would deter the dogs, but it didn’t. They still ended up peeing. I found that really only the day I sprinkled it (because it was naturally fresh) was really the only time it worked.

Keeps pets away from lawn. Only last 2-3 days. Con: Bottle only half full

Trying to get rid of a cat pooping in the yard didn’t seem to work very well But it didn’t say cat it said rabbit

Within hours of using this, feral cats in the neighborhood crawled through this product to squeeze under a gate. (4 foot line on either side.) They again went through it to escape as it is the only entry/exit point. One even found it useful as kitty litter. Does not work for my purposes. I own no pets, but constantly have to deal with cats destroying my property and scaring off/attacking birds. I prefer humane deterrents as our local government is uninterested in helping with this issue. (Just stating general situation in case this is also your reasoning for trying this product.)

I purchased this to keep feral cats off of the porch. They had urinating on all of the cushions and ripped them up. I broadcast this across our very large porch - using maybe 1/3 of the bottle and they have never returned. I reapply for maintenance using about 1/10 of the bottle every few months. Side effect was the birds stopped putting their nests at the top of the porch poles and no more bird poop to clean up on the floor of the porch. It doesn't say anything about birds and ours weren't down on the porch, so I was surprised that even 14 ft up, the birds can obviously smell it. It has absolutely no odor to us.

I put this is my flower bed where the neighborhood cats use for their litter box and I didn't keep them out. They keep coming back. I would not recommend this product.
