ScorpionExo EXO-GT3000 Full Face Modular Helmet

I ordered a size that was not quite the right fit for me, but I have mostly compliments for this helmet. The custom air function is great. The style is super. It's comfortable putting it on and taking it off. My fit issue was head shape and snugness of the chin curtain, but that is just an impact to me and not a complaint on the product. My one concern was that the tags warn you that it is custom painted and that made me leery about rock chips, etc. This fit and felt much better than the Bell SRT Modular, which costs exactly the same. In the end, I was trying to avoid getting an XL helmet, but it looks like I'll have to go that route. For reference, I have an XL Icon Alliance that fits slightly looser than I want, but Scorpion would also require I wear an XL.

I love that this helmet is extremely lightweight. It's a fantastic fit in the cheeks, but the crown area of the head could use some work. The vent works great if you are obviously on a bike that doesn't have a windshield, and if you do have one prepare to ride with your visor up at stops so you don't overheat. This isn't my first modular helmet, but the noisiest so far. This helmet whistles at the slightest turn of your head. You can count on the wind tunnel sound effect at all times. I only have two truly positive comments about this product, and they are the only reasons I didn't sent the helmet back. It's lightweight. A huge plus in my book especially on long rides. The other plus is the ease in activating the sliding sun shield. The lever on the bottom edge of the helmet makes it exceptionally easy to use unlike some of the other Scorpion models that have the lever mou ted up high by the visior face shield.

I ordered this for a friend and he loves it. He said the only thing he wish it had was more ventilation. It runs true to size and is very sharp looking. It looks better in person then the pictures show. U def can not beat the price.

The manufacturer's sizing chart is way off. I had to reorder one 2 sizes larger than their chart recommended. Otherwise, I would give this helmet a 4 star as it is a pretty good helmet.

No chin padding on the chin-flip portion of the helmet. A double-D buckle for $350 helmet? I am sorry, this is something I did not expect. A "city vent" visor position is a joke - you may as well keep it closed all the way down. The helmet is WAY too tight - way smaller than other helmets I have had in the past. All in all - failed expectations all over the place. Returning.P.S. AirFit system is not working, period.
