I love Simple Mills products! As a gluten free and dairy free family the Simple Mills mixes help us to celebrate many big occassions. Of course we use this mix to make delicious chocolate cupcakes and cakes to celebrate birthdays and Valentine's Day. But what I love most about this mix is that it makes an easy breakfast that I can trust for my two growing girls. My youngest daughter is very picky and breakfast can be a fight. I bought individual frozen chocolate muffins by Good and Gather from Target and finallly found a breakfast that she would eat. These were easy to microwave each morning. But I didn't love the ingredients for a sustaining breakfast for a growing child. And that's when I realized my go to cupcake mix could be her new breakfast trend. As a personal trainer and nutrition coach I know the value of good ingredients to fuel our bodies. Simple Mills is well, simple and clean. It contains only 7 ingredients! The first ingredients is almond flour. Almond flour is rich in heart healthy monounsaturated fats, protein (bone and muscle building), vitamin E (antioxidant superhero) and magnesium (blood sugar control and blood pressure regulation). This is my favorite gluten free flour subsitute. The second ingredient, coconut sugar, is my FAVORITE sweetener. I love this sweetener because it has lower glycemic index (bye bye uncomfortable blood sugar spikes followed by cranky blood sugar cravings), contains inulin fiber (also helps those blood sugar spikes down), and contains small amounts of potassium, iron, zinc, and calcium. I make 2 dozens (2 boxes) of this mix and place them in freezer friendly bags and store them in the freezer. My girls easily grab the muffins out of the bag and pop them in the microwave for 20 seconds. We have a quick snack/breakfast. The vanilla version of this mix makes the yummiest cakes. This year I made my daughter a 10 layer cake for her 10th birthday, Harry Potter Themed. The chocolate was the winner for my 7 year old's heart shaped American Girl Doll cake.

Absolutely great! I am allergic to wheat, corn and soy. These made my birthday an actual birthday for a change. I love all of the simple mills products. They are affordable and taste great. The cupcakes are super simple to make. They look great too.

Makes very solid cake pops. Use vitamin D milk and real butter. Holds together better then cake with Gluten in it. I forgot to get vanilla in the mix and it still tasted good. Pick up a small bottle of vanilla and I'm positive it would taste even better. Because I used real milk instead of water I don't keep the cake pops out on the counter and only give the cake pops 2 or 3 days tops and then time to make some fresh ones. For some reason I didn't get 80 cake pops out of a box like regular cake mix. I got like 45.

Very tasty. Good for people who are on a low carb diet but aren't super strict like for those on keto where every gram of sugar matters. Decent chocolate flavor and fairly moist but comes out kind of flat

I purchased the Simple Mills Almond Flour Vanilla Baking Mix to make a birthday cake for my two-year-old. I appreciate that it’s made with simple, clean ingredients and is gluten-free, which made it a great choice for our family. The texture came out moist and tender, and it baked evenly without sinking in the middle. That said, the vanilla flavor was much lighter than I expected. It’s not bad, just subtle—if you’re looking for a bold vanilla cake, you might want to add extra vanilla extract. On the other hand, the mild flavor makes it an excellent base for other recipes. I think it would be perfect for banana bread, carrot cake, or other bakes where you want the added ingredients to shine. Overall, it’s a wholesome, versatile mix that I’d use again, just with a flavor boost depending on the recipe.

As good as a regular flour cake.

DELICIOUS! Quality ingredients, easy to follow instructions and the end result is a delicious cake that everybody requests the recipe for. One box makes an 8 inch cake, 2-3 inches high. If you want to take this cake, totally over the top, throw a handful of fresh or frozen raspberries into the mix and add 1 teaspoon of instant coffee powder or granules. I use decaf coffee granules. This cake is super rich, incredibly moist and beyond delicious. We bake two boxes and sandwich them together with chocolate ganache or buttercream. It also makes beautiful cupcakes!

This ale mix tastes great and has clean limited ingredients! Love it. My go to cake mix.
