A little disappointed that the cover that I thought was faceted but was literally just a pretty sticker on top. That being said, the mirror is compact and sturdy. The close clicked firmly closed and requires a bit of strength to engage the closure to open. The rose gold color over all is very pretty and reflective and the mirror glass inside if clear and reflect true images (nothing warped). It is a bit heavier than I was expecting, giving it some substance - it's a bonus for me but some people may find it too heavy for a travel mirror. Over all, I think it was worth the price.

This was a birthday gift for my mother. She had mentioned needing make-up, and I added this to the make-up I got for her. My father was a French teacher for a frightening number of decades, and he took students to Europe every other year. My mother was a chaperone a few times. The mirror is a reminder of those times with Dad. (He is still with us, but I don't think he’d use the mirror in public himself!, LOL!)Mom also really appreciates the normal view on one side and the magnifying mirror on the other. She was delighted with it! Score one for me — and the maker of the mirror! ;-)
