Great markers for beginners or experts. I can mix and match to get just about any color I need. I did have to buy another set because of the types of colors, not the color itself. I recommend this for anyone doing art and want to add color. Pros - Quality – great quality markers. so ive been using copics for nearly 6 years now, and i have gotten used to the high standard quality of copics. but when my friend told me about these, i thought, why not? so they arrived, i was a bit reluctant about the lack of pastel and pale colors, and the amount of vivid, dark colors. i made do, and attempted a drawing. now, i do architecture, and not character design, so the lack of earthy, gray, and muted tones was a little worrying, but in the end these are awesome. and while i was trying these out on my artwork, i opened a gray color, warm gray 1, and it just splashed ink all over the paper, my arms, and the table. it left an alcohol stench in my room for a while, and i still smell it now as i write this. for the price though, cant complain. I do wish there was less dark tones, and more pale colors. and the blending on these are dreamy. these literally blend easier than copics, but the nibs do feel stiffer than copics, the entire copic brush nib can bend, while on these, only the tip really bends around, while in order for the rest to bend, you need to put in some effort, without destroying the nib. my markers also came coated in some greasy spray, which was horrifying, but after a few washes, it was all good. the spray didnt smell weird, but it certainly affected my first impressions. but first impressions arent always the most important, after a couple hours, i got used to the feel, and it was awesome. i dont look at copics the same, as high end, quality markers, because these are just as good if not better. definitely going on the marker shelf, with the copics. one thing i did notice also were that these bleed a TON, the inkflow is massive, so when you dont expect it, it just soaks into the paper and spreads out. But overall, these are a fun thing to use, and it gives you a copic effect. copic does have more realistic tones, and lighter colors for me to use in architectural drawings, but these are good if you are going for a cartoony, manga, or comic look. but with these 48 colors, you cant do much realistic stuff. Customer service was amazing, after a few of my brushes came messed up, they were kind enough to give me a whole new set of markers, thats 96 markers yall, added on, when one of my markers dried, they sent a replacement, no questions asked.

After two YEARS of these sitting on a shelf I finally started using them and I am obsessed (so much so that I just bought the 320 marker set since this doesn’t have enough contrast for my use on gloss paper). They’re so easy to make vivid looking colors and they blend really nicely on gloss paper once you figure out a system that works for you. Plus if you use gloss paper and get down a lot of ink, you can get some interesting effects that look like watercolors. Also doesn’t smudge if you put your hand on a previously colored part of the drawing which is nice. Use isopropyl alcohol to clean if you drop it on your wall and accidentally color the paint. Looks totally different on gloss vs matte paper so swatch colors on what you intend to use. I prefer gloss paper because it feels nicer to draw on imo and it doesn’t use as much ink because the paper isn’t absorbing it. Imo it’s also easier to get nice blends and lift color on gloss paper. It’s also dye based ink (all alcohol markers are) so they’ll fade over time. If you want to preserve the work, make sure to scan it so you have a backup. I’ve found it works well with a gloss hp paper I got to print coloring pages on my laser machine with little bleed through. Would 10000% recommend these. It does seem like they’ve updated some of the cap colors/names since I purchased a while ago lol. Also brush and chisel tip for life.

I just received these markers today. Was so excited to finally be able to color the drawings i had made anticipating their arrival. Love the color selection, though i'd like them to have included a more pale skin tone. Their palest skin tone is more tan than anything. I actually used "warm gray" in the drawing i attached. Also, these markers are veeeeeery inky. (not sure if that's the way to describe it) I'm sure it gets better with usage as the ink dries a bit, but it just puts so much bold color on the paper so quickly that it made me incredibly anxious before coloring this drawing that i had liked A LOT. It was very hard to get an even color with these at first (but as i said they might get better the more they're used!) Was scared it would bleed through the thin lines i used. The brush tips are very thin at the veryyy end of them, but if you press a little too hard, or if your hand shakes, you can easily mess up and get the colors in the wrong area. I have shaky hands and when i was doing the eyebrow to the left of the drawing, in the crevice on the bottom beside the bridge of their nose, the brown bled over the line because of a slight shake of my hand. So all i'd suggest if you use these is to draw with thicker pens/markers for the line art. As you can see, i went very thin with a .2 black marker on the line art inside of the drawing and thick with 1.0 on the outside. It was much easier to color against the outer lines. Overall, these arent bad for beginners if they aren't as worried or nitpicky about their art, like if your kid is more of a soccer player and likes to doodle in their notebook, these are obviously good. They could also be good to more well experienced artists who know how to keep their hand steady and still and evenly distribute the amount of coverage when coloring. If these are the most you can afford, then i say go for it. It may look like a lotta negative above, but i rate it 4 stars as they haven't reaaaaallly disappointed me yet. Even after everything listed, my level of excitement to have these bad boys is the same as before they arrived. However, if you can afford even higher, i'd check out copic markers first.

A serious contender to Copic the Ohuhu markers are a slam dunk on quality. They lay down smooth, blend well, have a good bleed capacity and work well with other mediums. You get a good amount of markers per set and I havent run out of ink yet. Even if I do these are marketed as refillable! Ditch Copic and get Ohuhu!

I am a home crafter/card maker and these markers work great - I got a lot of colors for a GREAT value. I have only swatched the colors but am very happy with how the markers work. I love that it came with a storage case (but do wish there was an insert that would allow each marker to have a spot. I love some of the extras, although these seem simple it makes the markers even better to use - for example, the color number is on both caps, the side that has the brush nib has a gray ring so at a glance I know which end I want to use. The plastic mat that prevents bleed thru if I am using thin paper fits in the case and makes taking these markers anywhere even easier. The second brush nib makes these an even greater value. This is my second set as the first one had a dried out marker. I did try to contact the company but never got a response so I returned them to Amazon and got a replacement set. However, when I did start that process, Amazon also suggests contacting the company and provided contact information. I did not use it since I had already done that, but maybe the Amazon information would work better than the Ohuhu website. Since I ended up with markers I was happy with, I did not downgrade the review. UPDATE: I was wrong, I found their response buried in my Junk mail box. Not only did they respond, they followed up when they did not hear from me. That is great customer service, but since I already gave the item 5 stars I have no way to give them extra credit!! The only other note would be if you are looking to try these markers out with the intention of getting more to build your set, you should look at the website to understand what colors are important to you. For example, I ordered the 48 marker set but the colors that are added to make the 72 marker set are not available to be purchased separately. So if I really wanted them, I would need to buy the 72 marker set and get 48 duplicate colors. The markers are so reasonably priced, be sure to get the set that includes all the colors you would want. Some sets are available separately like the pastels. Hope this helps.

1. Great alternative to copic markers for beginners/amateur anime and manga fanartists. The colors are vibrant and somewhat layerable! All of my markers came ready to use and super juicy. Plus there is a free single marker exchange program if you're not satisfied with any of them. 2. I did my own swatches and don't believe that every color exactly matches up with the included color card. Overall the colors were less pastel than I anticipated, with really only one good light yellow color and no good light skin tones included in this pack. There are a ton of beautiful mid- and deep-toned skin colors that I love, but no good DEEP brown color. 3. There is no true navy blue in this pack ); But it is easily rendered by layering the royal blue and cool greys. 4. Blendability is possible, but copics are better. If you want beautiful, perfectly blended sunset skies you're gonna have a rougher time working with anything but copics and expensive designated marker paper. However I'd say most people using alcohol markers aren't doing it for the blendability anyway, and personally this didn't bother me at all since my art style is more simplistic. 5. HIP HIP HOORAY for brush tips!! They add so much precision to your artwork! I find the Ohuhus to be slightly less capable of ultra thin lines than Copic's brush tip, but just as delightful to use. It's a difference of maybe a millimeter. I really only draw fanart for myself and friends, so these were the perfect alternative to spending my savings on a set of copics. Instead I bought a 6 pack of copic skin tones for ~$30 and this set of Ohuhus. Between the two I have almost every color I need for the kind of work I produce. Hope this review was helpful!

Veio tudo certinho, todos os marcadores em perfeito estado. Esse foi meu primeiro kit, as cores são belíssimas e escolhi esse pelos tons verdes. Mas vou deixar uma dica, talvez você vá sentir falta dos tons pastéis, eu mesma menosprezei, mas senti muita falta na hora de contruir camadas ou de simplesmente ter um tom mais claro pra fazer contraste. Por exemplo, se eu tenho tons mais claros consigo adaptar usando com outros materiais ( ex:lápis de cor), mas tons escuros não consigo clarear de forma satisfatória. Considere iniciar com tons pastéis, ou pastéis + kit dos médios ou pasteis e esse kit aqui.

I have always had high expectations for Ohuhu with all the ads I’ve seen from art YouTubers and just in general on social media, and my expectations were truly surpassed. This product is so nice to use and so well pigmented - the swatch sheet provided further assists with this because the color sometimes doesn’t quite match up to the color shown on the marker, so keeping the swatch sheet handy while using them is definitely very helpful. I have no regrets with these markers and can only praise them :)

Me encantaron. Se sienten robustos y de muy buena calidad. Sí es necesario hacer la guía de colores porque el diseño de las tapas difiere del color real, los colores son más intensos que el de la tapa, lo que me gustó, porque al verlos pensé que eran muy claros, pero no y están geniales.

الالوان حلوه وواضحه وحبيت انه فيها قسمين واحد نحيف وواحد سميك وتنفع للي مبتدئ بموضوع التلوين وحاب يجرب فيها الالوان الاساسية وممكن درجة او درجتين قريب منه للتدرج بس انه في الوان فاتحه تحتاجها مو موجودة يعني محدود وهذه الشيء مارح تلاقيه بذا النوع
