Great Little Indoor Thermometer
Very nice economical unit. Does a great job of summarizing the indoor weather conditions. Unit is very easy to set up. It is only lacking a light to see the temperature readings at night.

Temperature room gauge
What do they were great they give you the humidity and the temperature and you can change it from Fahrenheit to Celsius highly recommend. They’re very small but not too small so they’re legibly readable.

Great for me!
I love this thing! I purchased some collectible coins this year and AI said I should store them in a humidity-controlled environment. I got the tote from Home Depot because it sealed and had an IP-67 rating. I got the wisedry 10-gram desiccant reusable packets to control the humidity. I put each coin shipping box in a heavy-duty zip-loc (which are super nice – very thick) with one wise dry in the zip loc. I put three zip locs with coins in the tote along with a fourth 10-gram wisedry desiccant reusable packet to control the humidity in the tote. Then, I also got a TempPro TP50 digital hygrometer thermometer and put it in the tote. The thermometer and wisedry desiccant packet are clearly visible through the tote so I can see if the desiccant packet needs to be recharged as well as check the temperature and humidity level inside the tote without opening it. Before placing the thermometer inside the tote, I measured the room relative humidity (RH) at about 48%. After I placed the TempPro TP50 digital hygrometer/thermometer inside the tote, closed the tote and waited a day, the RH inside the tote was down to 17% RH! Woo-hoo! Inside the tote is nice and dry and I can monitor the RH inside the tote as well as the status of the desiccant packets without opening the tote. The whole storage system cost under $43 and is doing a great job! Home Depot delivered to my doorstep unboxed and the tote was in perfect condition.

Decent quality digital hygrometer/thermometer
There are many units of this type, i.e. combination thermometer / hygrometer, on the market. Many of them include the min/max feature that shows the lowest temperature, highest temperature, lowest humidity and highest humidity (since being reset). Some even show an assessment of 'comfort' level, based on the current combination of temperature and humidity. The differences then come down to 'build quality', appearance, and practical ergonomic design. This TP50 model by ThermPro (or at least marketed under that name) seems to rate fairly high on those counts. The LCD display is NOT backlit, but has very good contrast in normal room light; it would not be the best choice for dimly illuminated areas, but then again, how many similar units DO come with backlighting? The humidity is clearly the main display, with the digits being about 11/16" (18mm) tall, while the temperature readout is smaller at about 7/16" (11mm) tall. I would have thought that most users would place the temperature readout at higher importance, but apparently the manufacturer thinks of this as primarily a hygrometer, with the thermometer thrown in for good measure. AND, the humidity display is placed higher, above the temperature display, which I find confusing. No matter how many times I take a look at it, I always initially look at the top display and think it is reading temperature, and then D'oh! The temperature can be changed between Fahrenheit and Celsius by momentarily pressing the small button on the back side of this product; this toggles between the two units of measurement, and the °F or °C is displayed next to the temperature readout. The humidity is displayed without units, saying only '%', which presumably means 'ratio of measured humidity to full saturation humidity at the currently measured air temperature', but I don't see anywhere that this is actually made clear to the user. I might assume that this display is indeed taking into account the ability if the air at a given temperature to hold water, but at this price point I don't know if it really is. The take away here is that you can't treat this product as a reliable "instrument" for measuring air humidity, because inside its little guts many different ways of coming up with the displayed number MIGHT be used, and the manufacturer is not too clear about it. There is also nothing I saw, in the tiny slip of paper that came with the product, about specified accuracy, so users should take ANY readout on this product with a grain or two of salt. It might be fairly accurate, or NOT. Pressing and holding the F/C button on the back for a few seconds will reset the min/max readouts. All four min/max displays temporarily clear, and then reappear, to show that they have been cleared and are now accruing new minimum and maximum readings. The product has a neat and attractive appearance, and decent ergonomics. It has a small kickstand that folds out from the lower back side, to hold it up, tilted backwards at approximately 30 degrees from vertical. With this kickstand folded flat against the rear of the case, the product can he held to a metal object (such as the front of a refrigerator) using the magnet on its upper rear panel. The product measures approximately 2-5/8" (6.7 cm) wide, 3-1/8" (8 cm) tall, and 7/8" (2.2 cm) deep. The product takes one AAA cell, preferably lithium type for long life and to reduce the chance of damaging corrosion that would probably happen to an alkaline cell if it is left in the product after being mostly depleted. It comes with one alkaline cell. Regarding the 'comfort' display. So far I have only seen it show "dry", but presumably it also displays "comfort" and "wet" or "moist" or "clammy" as well. Next to the displayed word is an icon (an 'emoticon'), which I also presume changes to a different icon for each comfort level. The icon for "dry" is like a smiley face, but with the mouth drawn as a rather indifferent straight line. I can guess that the mouth assumes a smiling shape when the comfort level is "comfort", but what might the icon be for "wet"....a frown? I am not sure that my guesses in this regard are very encouraging about the inherent clarity of these icons, since I certainly don't think that a straight mouthed emoticon icon clearly and unambiguously denotes a "dry" comfort condition. Under each of the two primary readouts are the min/max readouts. These both have displays about 1/4" (6mm) tall. The words "low" and "high" appear adjacent to the respective min and max displays

Better Than Anticipated
I bought these for my house plants. My other two, different brand, stopped working. I wasn’t sure if they were worth the price, but they are. For the first few hours, it appeared as if they were not calibrated properly since they didn’t read the same. But by the following morning, and since, they read exactly the same.

Excellent tool for maintaining a healthy room environment!
This digital hygrometer has a nice, clean appearance and is very easy to read. It is lightweight, a breeze to wipe clean, and easy to relocate whenever I want to check a different room. I use it daily to monitor both my room temperature and humidity level. It helps me ensure my room stays below 60% RH to prevent mold growth, while also reminding me to use a humidifier in the winter so the air doesn't get too dry.

Accurate
Very small but works. I compared the readings to the weather stations I have and the readings are the same. If you need readings in a room in your house, I recommend this hygrometer. It is small and fits easily in your decor.

Great little device at a great price!
It’s very helpful and the temperature reading is about the same as my electronic house unit shows. The only thing lacking is an amber background to make it easier to read.

Accurate and reliable
This is a very reliable little thermo-hygrometer. I use it to keep an eye on the temperature and humidity in my room, especially when I’m drying laundry indoors, and it has been genuinely useful. The readings are clear and easy to see at a glance, and the battery lasts a very long time, so it’s not something you have to keep worrying about. I’ve had very good experiences with ThermoPro products before, and this one has been just as dependable. It responds quickly to changes in the room and gives me a much better idea of when humidity is getting too high. I also like that it shows the humidity level in a very simple way, so you can tell at a glance whether the room is dry, comfortable, or too damp. It’s compact, easy to place, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. For something so simple, it’s been genuinely useful in day-to-day life, and the quality feels like something you can rely on.
