No liner will stop the GOAT HEAD, U must run two 😲
Think I've tried all the liner brands (yes, even the RhinoDillo), have not found one yet that will stop the goat head stickers. However, running 2 liners in each tire will stop that darn sticker📌! These Mr. Tuffys do retain their malleability & don't harden over time as some of the other brands do, that is good.Might add, buy tires with a good sidewall, that does not mean expensive. Liners may chew thru a tire with weak sidewalls. Maybe stay away from the foldable tires.

LIFESAVERS, TIME SAVERS, extended tire use to outer limits
Changing a flat on one of my motored wheels on my e-cargo trike is an epic endeavor. However, the bike industry has been slow to catch up with the technology, so finding tires and tubes tough enough for a fast heavy trike has been really challenging. Enter Mr. Tuffy. I haven't had a flat since I put them on. I literally just changed out my budget Kenda Flames for the first proper e-cargo bike tires I've ever seen on the market. Those Flames were PAPER-THIN when I just pulled them off, and lasted FOUR YEARS. Without the Tuffy tire liners, I know I would have had dozens of flats by now rolling around the inner city streets of Oakland California. Pedicab drivers, ebike enthusiasts and anyone who needs to not get flats bad enough to add a few ounces to each tire: these are worth EVERY PENNY. They also don't seem to wear out very fast. New tires now, same liners.

Demonstrably Effective.
First year with my current ebike and no liners, two flats. Nearly a year with these, riding through the same amount and types of debris including glass and metal... no flats despite riding every day. Pulled a large staple from my tire at some point with no damage to the tube and no indication that the tire liner was compromised. Adds negligible weight and no discernable difference in ride quality. Excellent protection for my higher psi street tires!

No more flat tires, period
Mr. Tuffy has been making these at least since this reviewer used to ride his bike to middle school and I have put them on every bike I’ve owned since. It’s a hard rubber liner you place between the inside of the tire and the inner tire tube to prevent thorns, glass, or dirty syringes you might ride over from puncturing your tire. I have NEVER ONCE gotten a flat on a tire with these in it, that includes hard trail riding I used to do when I was actually physically fit.I recommend having a set of plastic tire levers for installation, since you have to deflate the tire somewhat, and pry one edge of the tire away from the rim so you can get it in there. A flat screwdriver works but that can damage your rim. Do you need these to ride your bike? Well no, but having to walk your bike home in the rain because you got a flat tire is wack

Heavy, but worthy expense
Living in Colorado, thorns and broken glass are just a part of daily riding. These really do help out a ton with upping resistance to flats. I've put these on just about every bike I've ever owned out here, and they have always made a huge difference in tire life. If you're doing lots of urban trails or areas with goatshead or other burrs, these will definitely help. The only two things that suck about these is 1)the added weight. This shouldn't be too much hassle if you aren't doing a ton of hill climbing. The second strike against these is that they aren't nearly wide enough. They'll help reduce flats if you manage to catch a burr in your tread, but if you hit the sidewall, this is useless.

MAKES MY LONG RIDES SAFER
I ebiked my hybrid bicycle by motorizing my front wheel. Now I take longer excursions on new bike trails. My concern was that I'd have a flat while 20 miles from home. Now I feel a lot more confident that I will not suffer a tire puncture with these Tuffy Tire Liners in between the tube and the tire. They were easy to install by following simple instructions. I would recommend them to anyone who rides far from home base.

Extra insurance
I’m in the Northeast and I ride a lot of trails with thorns. Tubeless tires, sealants, slimetubes etc. just weren’t cutting it. Nothing ruins your ride more than a flat tire. I’ve only had these a short while but I was pulling thorns out of my tires on the past ride with no leaks. I’m not as concerned about weight as I am “survivability” of my tires on my rides but I didn’t notice any difference in ride quality. I’m sold.

They add weight.
I was tired of getting a flat tire almost everyday my hubby and I went bike riding. I have a beach bike and I would get a flat by the smallest thorn. I purchased this and I haven't had a flat in weeks even though I am taking the same path. I noticed, however, that at first I got really tired of pedaling because they add weight. It took me a week to get used to them and the added weight. Bottom line, they do what they're supposed to do but at a small price.
