Extremely difficult to put on, but holds well once it's on
It's extremely difficult to put on - I used it for a fiberglass edge in my boat - I had to enlist the help of a very handy friend who is also quite strong, because I was at the verge of returning it. He was able to work with it, and it will hold very tightly, which is what is needed. So he saved the review. It looks fine, and should work for a boat after removing the first metal piece, which is rusty.

hard to apply/retains very well
installed this on 3/16" thick fiberglass edges on the boat and It was very hard to apply using a (white) rubber mallet and then squeeze it to close well and when finally installed it holds very well and looks good.

Hard to find product - worked perfectly to replace seal in a Regal 2200. I had to do some fabrication to get some things to fit behind the front seats - this product was exactly what I was looking for!

New Trim = New Kayak
Fit easily on the kayak and makes it look new with the clean white beading. Overestimate your need (it is not expensive) to insure you get thru the corners.
