Yellow and rust :(
The product fits and stays well BUT it turned yellow AND when the metal got wet it rusted onto my car. I was very disappointed after reading all the positive reviews.

Protection for door edges is quite "beefy" on my Tesla Model Y
These are quite "beefy" edge guards. Easy to install and despite being "beefy" they formed around the door curves very nicely, as the picture will show. I think they afford the best protection of such items in their class as they have little metal pieces in their construction that add more protection and the rubber is also quite thick and protects. I would have preferred clear ones but the white are close to the car's white color. No glue or tape needed. The 13' size was just a perfect size to apply to all four doors. Just press on and protect.

The reason I purchased this product in a 50' length was I didn't want any splices in it . As I installed the item,several places were damaged, so I had to splice it anyway. The item was prepared the space it was going into was prepared so I had no choice to send it back for replacement. So my recommendation would be to uncoil and inspect the product before attempting to use.

Extremely difficult to put on, but holds well once it's on
It's extremely difficult to put on - I used it for a fiberglass edge in my boat - I had to enlist the help of a very handy friend who is also quite strong, because I was at the verge of returning it. He was able to work with it, and it will hold very tightly, which is what is needed. So he saved the review. It looks fine, and should work for a boat after removing the first metal piece, which is rusty.

Wasn't the size I needed but was good materials
I had to return this as it wasn't the size I needed but that is because it's hard to measure exactly. I was impressed with the quality of the material and if it had fit my application I would have used it. Note to others, this is not the right size for the Surfjet cowling trim.

Works perfect!
Used it to replace old 1970s edge trim on a fiberglass sailboat, works perfectly and looks great!

Can be expanded to a wider width, good quality trim
This product wasn't exactly what I expected but it worked perfectly. I am using it to trim fabric covered carboard. It is very flexible but not flexible enough to trim a 90 degree angle. Although it says the dimensions for best fit, the inside is made of a thin, playable metal so it will open wider than I expected (with some effort). It looks very nice, does not look cheap. Can easily be cut with a box cutter. A little expensive for the length but overall I am very happy with the purchase.

This trim fits perfect on my fiberglass camper propane tank cover. Would buy again.
