Absolutely Perfect!!!
I recently got into cooking various Korean dishes and one of my favorites was Bibimbap, or more specifically, Dolsot (Hot Stone) style. I have to say, these are absolutely amazing. I know many use the bowls for Rice to Ramen, but for me, the sole purpose for the 2 I bought was for Dolsot Bibimbap. The bowls heat perfectly directly on the stove, and stay piping hot for quite a long time, keeping whatever you use it for guaranteed to remain as such. A very well result for those dishes you know you want to remain hot. The bowls did come with silicone pads, but I've seen many reviews advising against placing the bowl directly on the pads as they would melt, so I've avoided doing so. After experiencing how nice and hot these bowls can get, I can see the pads not being designed for the bowl, but the top itself to be placed upon. I've placed my bowls on either a simple towel to even a small cookie sheet pan. You definitely wouldn't want to place it directly onto a table lol. Easy to use, easy to clean, and the product works perfectly as intended. Highly recommend. Bought mine for like $25 each, and regret nothing. If you want soups, or similar food/dishes in a nice hot bowl to keep the contents hot for extended periods of time, then you found that here.

Nicely Shaped
I were really impressed with the size and potential capacity of this hot pot made of stone. In the photos that I have taken with my camera, i randomly put perhaps common homewares with the vicinity of the said hot pot. A water bottle of 500ml capacity, a rather largely faced (or mouthed) tablespoon, and an undefinable Korean style "ramyun" single-package. In the next photo, I placed a cereal or dry-granola lock-sealed container that closely resembles the size of an American tub-sized yogurt container. These two photos mean to loosely express how one could gauge without too much vacillation of pondering how much a given prepare-required food it can contain. For me, doenjang stew for about three good helpings. The lid could stand to be bit thicker for durability's sake. The hotpot's lower surface is very sturdy; I could vouch. Will reach very-high temperatures and I'm not sure what kind of holding basin or cradle would stand to the temperature of it being heated. Very impressive. Could prepare and cook a shin myeon noodle or something with dry round noodles with a tad less than 630ml of distilled or just regular water.

From stove to table in one pot.
Likes: - The clay pot is great for cooking soup on a stove. It holds a 18.6 ounces of canned soup with plenty of room for additional veggies and other ingredients. - It's convenient to cook and serve in the same pot. - Serving in a clay pot keeps soup very warm longer than serving in a ceramic soup bowl. - Easy to clean. Dislikes: - Small side and lid handles. They are difficult to hold with oven mitts. - The lid is thin. - Pricey for a small clay pot.

Absolutely Gorgeous Pot
This STUNNING ceramic ramen pot is beautiful to the touch and the eye. Bought it for my son along with a gorgeous black hardback Vegan Korean cookbook, and a set of two beautiful blue handmade ramen bowls with built-in chopstick holders for his 30th birthday. He is a foodie and is designer, so he has an eye for pretty and high quality items. He was beyond thrilled at the quality and aesthetic of these items and it really was the perfect gift. He was super excited about this ramen pot and kept saying how gorgeous it was. It is ceramic and feels solid and well made. The glaze is a low gloss that just feels like such a high quality piece. This pot is like a one large serving size and can go on the stove or in the oven.

Best rice EVER! (Itโs an art)
This thing makes the best rice EVER! Just take it easy, donโt rush it... be cool, and youโll be treated to an absolute delight. The first two times I used it I made a mess - overflow, splatter, white rice goop all over the stove. I was not pleased! But then I got thinking about the fact that this sort of thing has been used for centuries by people far more advanced and I.. what was the difference? PATIENCE. The third (and subsequent times) I set the heat on my glass top to 4, and let it do its thing. No more splatter, no more mess... only white delicious fluffiness. To the frustrated reviewers I say: chill, and if you canโt...stick to metal pots and pans.

Chipped on first use.
Seems like a great little pot, but Iโm disappointed that it chipped on the first use while making rice. Later in the same session, I dropped the lid into the stove and it held up well. So it durable. The chip must have been a manufacturing flaw. BTW, the lid handle is very shallow making it tricky to use. I wish the lid had a bit more to hold onto.

๐My new favorite piece of cookware.๐
This is little piece of cookware has fast become a favorite of mine. Easy to clean and Conveniently compact. It heats evenly and holds a fair amount of food. Itโs been perfect for the occasions when I make congee for my daughter and great for making stew, or reheating leftovers.(At least in our two person household) Works great inSide the oven as well. I do recommend good thick potholders and a heat proof placemat to put it on before pulling it out of the oven or off of the stovetop.

the best pot for oatmeal
This pot makes the best oatmeal for one on stove top. It's pretty enough to eat out of it directly. It's microwave safe too, so I stick it into a microwave when my oatmeal gets cold. I accidentally let it boil over a few times, but it has withstood the abuse and got totally clean after I soaked it in water. I highly recommend it.

Brilliant
Brilliant little pot. I warm it up in oven first then put it on gas hob. Making a meal is so easy and the pot retains its heat well. I put it on the table with two round table mats and the silicon between. Tiny peeve is that the top knob is not up much, so difficult to take off with oven gloves, this pot is hot. I use a tea towel to take lid off but do it quickly as the cloth doesn't offer much protection. I love this pot.
