Inconvenient, bulky, but it works!
It’s big and not the easiest to store, but it keeps herbs fresh. It’s pricey, but I save enough on not wasting herbs that it basically pays for itself. It takes up space and isn’t the most convenient, but if you can deal with the size, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I love not worrying about my fresh herbs going bad anymore.

A Great Way To Cut Your Produce Bill
These containers are great. They act exactly as promised. I got an extra week on a container of strawberries and several days beyond what I expected for raspberries (which stayed firm and juicy the whole time, rather than dissolving into a mushy mess ). Berries are the toughest test for a food, saving container, and this one passed with flying colors. I also purchased the standup herb container and it is working just as well – I bought a large bunch of parsley about three weeks ago and what is left still looks great. I’ve washed these containers in the dishwasher (top shelf) a couple of times each and they still look brand new.

Works great, but the cover doesn't close securely.
The cover doesn't seal or securely stay on the container. Usually covers fit snug and you can easily carry it with one hand without worrying. This cover, even though it is on properly, will flip open if you handle it by the edge of the lid. Several times the lid/cover flipped up and the whole thing, container, cover and lettuce shot out of my hand onto the kitchen floor. I now use both hands and I actively hold it to secure the cover. The container works great. I love how Iit collects more moisture into the bottom and I can empty it as wanted. The vegetable don't get all wet, nasty or brown as quickly as they do in the original container/bag. It stays fresh for a long time. Usually Romain leaves are tough to keep crispy for a week (for work) and sometimes I won't get my salad because it got brown or soft. It fits 2 heads of romaine lettuce. (I use a lettuce spinner) nicely. This change the way I store vegetables in my refrigerator. Now I always use these types of containers for berries and loose vegetables. Strawberries, blueberries and lettuce seem to benefit the most. This is a rectangle container with a non locking lid that has a compartment for a moisture eliminating packet. The middle of the lid has a chart for ventilation. Theres a slider to add more air circulation or to close it off. I bought my mom one after using mine for a while. I give four stars because if the cover popping off

Excellent product which delivers the freshness it promises
I have owned two of the large OXO 11140100 Good Grips GreenSaver produce savers since October 1, 2018 and have just bought two more of the same size. All of the items that I've kept in the Keepers have stayed fresh and are peak condition for more than one week. Depending on the produce item, I am able to keep them for over and two weeks without deterioration (for example, romaine, radicchio, celery, radishes, zucchini, peppers.) Further, I have not reordered the charcoal filter that is included in the initial delivery and notice no difference in keeping quality. I made my initial purchase of these rectangular Keepers after a few years of using my small and large OXO Salad Spinners to keep lettuce after washing it. I experimented with transferring arugula from its packaging to the salad spinner and found that it kept for over a week IF --- and only if --- the arugula was either dry in the package (tip: Organic Girl arugula is the driest I've found) or carefully dried before storing. This informed the way in which I stored produce in the Produce Keepers. Items that have approximately the same humidity requirements can be stored together. The icons on the inside of the slider show which items belong together. By implication, items from the other category should not be combined. Produce which gives off significant amounts of ethylene as it ripens should not be stored in the Keeper at all. That includes apples, bananas, pears, apricots, and so on. Look it up if you're not sure. The whole point of the keeper is to prevent the produce from ripening/spoiling and the presence of ethylene will hasten that process. Produce should be dry before being stored, and given enough space to allow some air circulation. This means cutting up some items so that they can be placed in the container (e.g., a whole head of lettuce or radicchio) without crowding or squashing them. The Keeper should be cleaned with hot, soapy water at least once a week to remove any bits of produce (tiny celery leaves, bits of arugula) which have fallen to the bottom of clear plastic shell. Produce should be used in rotation: first in, first out. I have only one negative comment: the Keepers do not stack well. They certainly fit on top of each other, but the top is not designed to nest into the bottom of another. That's a pity, as removing them from the refrigerator requires that one be a little careful to hold onto both the bottom and the top of the Keeper. For me, that's a small price to pay for an excellent product that delivers the freshness it promises.

Very good
Wow! This was such a good investment. With the whole cyclospora situation getting out of hand, I had to stop buying boxed salad and started making my own, purchasing from reputable farms. The instructions recommend that the produce not be washed before using to have a longer shelf life but I didn’t follow the instructions and did it anyway. I washed them, cut them, spin them with a salad spinner (mostly romaine lettuce mixed in with some Thai basil, mint) and it’s been 4 days and they look so crisp and fresh. Highly recommend, would buy again.

A Little Pricey but Worth It For Fresher Produce!
I love my salads but no matter how fast I make and eat them..the lettuce always goes bad before I can finish it all. It just always feel like such a waste. I did some research and found out about these containers which allegedly are able to keep your produce fresher for longer. I got the big size and its large enough to fit one tub of lettuce that I buy in stores. Normally, it would start to go bad on the inside after a few days but with this container, I can keep it for up to a week. I’ll admit its a little pricey, especially if you get the large size but for me it’s worth it simply because I’m not creating as much waste. On that note, I’ve been trying to cut down on kitchen waste wherever I can. I started with paper waste by finding an alternative to paper towels - Swedish dishcloths. Now I’ve set my sights on food waste. Its also easy to wash though you can’t put it in the dishwasher. I soak it in soapy water and wash the various parts with a sponge. Luckily for me, lettuce really isn’t all that messy so the container doesn’t get too dirty even with everyday use. Oh right, you want to make sure that you don’t wash your produce before you put it in. It has to be completely dry otherwise it won’t work nearly as good. The only issue for me is that the lid doesn’t snap on. Many people have stated this in other reviews and I agree with them 100%. Instead of snapping on, it kind of just “sits” on the top of the container. So if you’re not careful when you’re handling it, the contents can easily spill…and that has happened to me twice. I suppose you don’t want the lid to be too tight though since it’ll defeat the purpose of keeping moisture away… So I’ve just gotten use to the loose lid. Instead of lifting it from the top, I lift it from the sides always.

Big disappointment for 1, love the other
I was really excited to try this produce saver because I'd heard great things about how well it helps keep fruits and vegetables fresh. Unfortunately, both of the GreenSaver units I ordered arrived missing the small cover that holds the freshness cartridge in place. Without that piece, the product can't function as intended, which completely defeats the purpose of buying it. I'm very disappointed, especially since this happened with both units I received. At this point, I don't feel confident ordering another one through Amazon and will likely purchase it elsewhere instead. It's a shame because the product itself seems like a great idea, but the missing parts made it unusable. I'm really impressed with this herb keeper so far. The design is well thought out, especially the hinged basket that opens wide, making it easy to arrange herbs without crushing them. I also like that the basket lifts out with a built-in handle, so checking on the herbs or changing the water is quick and mess-free. The container is compact enough to fit nicely in the refrigerator while still holding a good amount of fresh herbs. It seems like it will do a great job keeping the stems hydrated without the leaves sitting in water, which should help extend freshness. I've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to the long-term results yet, but my first impression is very positive. It feels sturdy, is easy to use, and I appreciate how simple it is to clean and refill. If it keeps my herbs fresh as promised, it'll definitely earn a permanent spot in my fridge.

Buy multiples if you cook a lot - this WORKS!
We have been working to incorporate more vegetables into our diet, and that's meant in our case a lot of salads, but not American lettuce-based salads... salads in the European sense of vegetables, cold or lightly cooked and served cool, in combination with fresh herbs and seasonings. As such, we've always got mint, flat-leaf parsley, scallion tops, thyme, tarragon, basil, and other herbs and greens in the fridge. They'll stay better if you put them in a zip lock bag with a damp paper towel, but they still wilt and blacken or get slimy after a couple of days. By contrast, these herb keepers will keep things fresh and crisp and healthy for a full week, sometimes ridiculously longer if you keep the water fresh. We've literally had cilantro for *three weeks* kept fresh and healthy by changing the water every ~3 days, using only filtered water (i.e., free of chlorine from the tap), and using kitchen scissors to trim the bottoms every few days to allow them to keep drinking. Some herbs - like culantro - just don't do well once unpackaged, but most do, and this has more than paid for itself with not having to throw out 2/3 of a bunch of herbs because we couldn't use them all at once. We have 3 at present, all full. It means we can make a salad with fresh herbs on Sunday, and again on Wednesday, and again on Friday, without having to go to the store. I can't speak highly enough of these containers - they really work, and they work better than any home-made hack contraption I've tried. Note: the top doesn't clip/snap onto the bottom, as you don't want an airtight seal - i think that's part of the reason it works. But this can lead to the top popping off in the fridge if it gets bumped. You can secure it with a standard size rubber band that still allows for a minimal amount of air transfer, but secures the lid.

Handig
Kan redelijk veel in, en neemt door de vorm toch niet veel plaats in in de frigo.

Easy to use & keeps herbs fresh!
This herb keeper has been great for keeping fresh herbs from wilting too fast. The internal basket promotes airflow and the lid helps keep just the right humidity, so herbs really do stay fresher longer than in bags or containers alone. It’s simple to use, fits well in my fridge door, and makes grabbing herbs for cooking a lot easier than dealing with limp bunches. If you use fresh herbs often, this little keeper is definitely worth having around.

It works!
I’ve been looking for a way to store cilantro for some time now and have had many failures. This product is working really well, as long as I change the water every other day. I’m thinking of buying the another one for more herbs.
