This CD has the classic Stryper songs all on one disc! I love it!

very good Album, must have for your collection

I had this CD before and lost it. I found it here on Amazon for a great price. It has a lot of the older Stryper songs and my faves on it. I love Stryper and have been a fan since 1984!

I have loved Styper for a long, long time, and I couldn't wait for this new album to come out, mainly because it would include two never-before-released songs.Upon first listen, I was a little disappointed. The two new songs, while quite good, are in the same vein as Michael Sweet's newer solo stuff, but have very little to do with Stryper (if anything). It doesn't even quite match up to his solo stuff, since it is as if, at the last second, they decided to throw more heavy guitar into the new songs to make them sound more like "Stryper" songs. This does not work here. I love Michaels solo projects (especially "Truth"), and these two new tunes would have done better to stick closer to that formula. If I pop in a Stryper album, I am in the mood for Stryper, not Mike's solo work. If Sting reunited with the police for some new creations, I would be stunned if the songs sounded no different from Sting's new-age, folksy, jazz-pop instead of sounding like the police. If a band reunites for a project, you figure it will at least sound something like what the band used to sound like.Alright, that having been said, I thought that the choices made for the rest of the album were superb. You get almost all of the true fan-favorites, minus a few, but you cannot fit all of them onto one disc.Pick up Michael Sweet's solo project entitled "Truth" for more music in the same genre as the first two songs on this CD, only with a little more creativity and with guitar solos on some of the songs. (He even screams on a couple of them as well!)Over-all: four stars just short of five.

Bought for a neighbor who later became "Born Again," this was the only metal cd to survive his sudden disdain & paranoia over listening to straight up metal. I guess that says something about this once one & only Christian metal band. I'm shocked that they opened for Motley Crue on a tour. When the bad Boys of Rock invited them to party, their lead singer merely said "We'll pray for you." So, they stayed steadfast in their beliefs &, again, it's not bad for Christian metal when there was almost no such thing back in my day.

Awesome to rock out with to the word of God. CD arrived brand new with no damage. No scratches. Very pleased. Love the music.
