Train track and also puzzle
Very big track and hours of play for my 3 year old. It's really worth buying. But the raiser which comes with the track is of no use as such. It's a good hard plastic. This also acts as a puzzle for my kid. The train direction changer doesn't work most of the times. But, we normally create a bigger track and don't use the direction changer as such. Overall, I am really happy with this product. I might even buy one more to make even more bigger track :)

Expanding and expanding, will arrive in Paddington soon...
First it was Thomas. Then a few tracks that closed in a neat oval. Simple. Then it was not enough. A challenge was requested by my toddler. Now I have so many tracks (and additional trains, of course), that I had to move some furniture, so that the trains will travel and travel... And who know, some day they will arrive, traveling under my bed and around the armchair, to Paddington. At exactly 4:30. Or Sodor Island. Sturdy, easy to assemble, easy to conform to "Clean up, put your toys back, little guy!", nice design resembling trails, pebble roads, great bridges - tall and taller ones -- one can never exhaust the itineraries... Buy more. You'll need it. :)

Sturdy and hours of fun
My grandson has the train set (started out small) and he loves it...many happy hours constructing all kinds of different configurations for Thomas and friends to run around on...bought the expansion track pack for him to have a little more diversity. I like that these are kid friendly and easily put together by themselves but are really sturdy too. Happy with all purchases made...he still plays regularly with his original "starter" set that he got three years ago or so and just keeps adding to it.

Quality Product
I bought this expansion pack in hopes of helping make previously bought trackmaster sets more than just small sets. The set includes enough pieces to make a fairly large set. I found that it really works well when combining different sets together. This package comes with long and short straight tracks which fit together easily. They also have curved pieces which also work well with the other pieces. They have some curved pieces that have lifts on them which make connecting them to other pieces slightly difficult but still works well. The curved switch pieces are a lot of fun and also work well with the set. All in all it's a great deal for this expansion pack and it really does a great job at creating enough tracks to make large and enjoyable sets.

Great Additional Set
This set of tracks is the perfect addition for other track master sets! My husband and I purchased them to go along and combine all of our 4 year old sons track master sets. He loves it and it allows him to make "The Island of Sodor" in our living room or his room. One recommendation I do have is that if your child already owns more than four track master sets you may want to purchase two of these. Our son only has four sets and this couldn't have been more perfect! Great product and price!

Can never have enough Thomas track!
This expansion pack was purchased for our two-year son for Christmas. When we play "trains", he wants Daddy and big brother to lay out the design of the track, but he insists on putting the pieces together. It's a good task for him. We sometimes have track layouts that run under dining tables, couches, chairs, etc., and cover most of the floor. Often times, we find ourselves running out of track in order to complete our layouts. Hence this purchase. Given our ever-expanding layouts, we'll no doubt be back for more. Playing with the Thomas train set is a great way for adults and kids to interact together and create new and exciting layouts. Planning ahead comes into play so that the track will work correctly -- especially if you use multiple switches like we do. We'll have three, sometimes four, trains running at once and must continually change the switches to keep the trains from running into each other. Some of the Thomas Train expansion track packages can get pretty pricey as well as be hard to find in local stores (Wal-mart, Toys R Us, etc.). Amazon is always good resource for us. For this particular expansion pack, Amazon had the cheapest price. What you see pictured is exactly what you get. There are no trains or cars included with this set.

Supports don't stay under the track
I knew when I got this that the supports wouldn't raise the track high enough for another train to pass underneath. What I didn't anticipate is that the supports don't stick to the intended piece of track it is supposed to support. This results in plastic track just hanging in midair, and when you are a little rough with it it will fall apart or occasionally trains will get stuck going up because the two joined tracks do not stay flush because the support fell out underneath. That said, other reviews are right that this is a lot of track for the money. I was hoping to possibly put it on a train table but there is just too much track it's way more fun to make a big mess on the floor that you can later break your ankle on! :) Overall it is what I expected but I thought the supports would hold the track better. The Trackmaster sets that come with "tree-like" supports seem better. I have not had a problem with those but you have to buy individual sets to get those.

Bought this to expand my 3 year old daughter's train set. It is great. Lots of pieces. It includes a sample layout. I find the edges of the pieces a bit sharp - both my daughter and I have been scratched by track pieces. The risers don't attach very securely. But it's still great.

My almost 3 year old already has a thomas and arthur train set, but I got this expansion set for the ease of combining the two sets and adding a bridge too. The only downside (if you can call it one) is that you cannot build a track to go underneath the bridge without manually "lifting" the bridge with more track pieces. This is not a problem as we never use all the pieces available. My little boy (and me) builds a new track almost every day as the possibilities are endless. Truely a great addition to any trackmaster set.

When we bought this for my grandsons many years ago we had great fun and lots of hours of enjoyment. They grew up and we gave all the track and engines to two little boys and they also had many hours of enjoyment as well. Now we have two great daughters and they are both Thomas the tank engine mad,so it looks like we start all over again having loads of fun.I would recommend these products for longevity and years of fun for all ages me being midway through my seventies.

Buen juegete. Las piezas son fuertes y duran (ya tenemos mas en casa). Hay que comprar los trens por separado.
