Haggar Mens Cool 18 Classic Fit Flat Front and Pleat Front Hidden Expandable Waistband Pant (Big & Tall Sizes)

These are the most comfortable pants I've bought in a long while. They hang nicely, the expandable waistband makes dressing easy and the material is soft and light. These are not for cold weather as wind goes right through them but that is not a concern for me. I think the waistband will expand about two inches. There is a single button closure and a zipeer fly. The inseam has plenty of room and although I usually wear a 29" inseam, these ended up being about 2" inches too long in the cuff so I had them hemmed. I'd much rather have them long than short! In every way from price to comfot and quality, these are great trousers.

After ordering these pants, but before they arrived, I found others on close-out at a local store. I fully intended to return the Haggar pants to Amazon but decided to have my husband try them on first to see how they looked. This is the best looking and best fitting pair of pants he has worn in years! The inseam is exactly right and the stretch waistband gives a comfortable fit while still looking classy. Not only will I not be returning these, I will be ordering more.

My local source for fat boy pants dried up recently. They have decided to go the route of Urban Thug Wear and no longer carry nice (or even cruddy) men's slacks. Purchasing dress pants sight unseen is an open invitation to frustration, but these were priced so well that I decided to give them a try. I first purchased a pair that were 58x32 and they dragged the ground a bit in the back. No problem. These have no cuff, so having them altered will be easy and inexpensive. Then I bought this pair of 58x30 that I am reviewing here. They are a tad too short for me. (I have a rather awkward 31" inseam that has plagued my pants-buying life since I was 15 years old and very skinny. Poor me, heh, heh, heh...) These cannot be made any longer, but they are close enough for me. They dry a little bit wrinkled but then hang out overnight pretty well. They are well made, too. The fabric is less shiny and slick looking compared to normal "cheapo" poly pants; they do not approach the look of wool or cotton at all, but still look fairly decent and hang well. My only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that they catch lint and cat hair like nothing I have ever seen before. I am a musician, and by the time I arrive at the gig I have to tape roll my dang pants. My car is clean, too, so this was an irritating discovery. However, the fit and price make it a 100% certainty that I will buy a few more pair of these slacks. Easy care, a decent fit for the more rotund boys such as myself, and at a really great price. Stop worrying about buying these online. Buy a pair. They are inexpensive. They fit pretty much as they say they will. They have elastic inserts on the waistband on each side so they self adjust in fit. If you hate them give them to Goodwill or the Salvation Army; it's not like you will be out all that much if this does not work out for you. If you like them you now have a source for some very cheap, decent looking pants in a cut that fits you more like clothing and less like a tent.

I had a pair of Haggar pants a long time ago that I purchased on a military base and I could never find them online because the product number on the tags was worn off/illegible. I looked and looked and finally found these. These are the closest I could find and I love them. These are definitely summer pants. They are light weight and let the wind through. I am wearing them today in 35 degree weather and regretted it just a little bit. But like I said, they are light weight pants. Perfect for warmer days and the material doesn't require ironing unless you choose to sharpen that crease in the legs. They come out of the dryer ready to wear. They also have a slight elastic band. It won't give you a whole inch but if will adjust to your bending and slight weight fluctuations. The pockets are spacious for my large hands and are well positioned.

The MOST comfortable pants EVER! I wear them to work and feels like I'm wearing pajamas... Even after I stuff myself during my lunch hour, they are STILL comfortable! It's hard for me to find nice slacks that actually fit me! I'm 5'2"and weigh 245lbs! I had to of course hem them to MY special length. Wide belts DO fit the belt loops! Which has plenty of belt loops. I hate pants that barely have them, belt loops! IF I could rate in the price, it'd say a ONE star! Originally when I bought these pants, they were only $16 maybe. NOW they are $57! I was shocked as to why they jumped SO high. If they drop the price, I'll let y'all know here! Thanks....

I'm wearing them but they are too large. I kept them because I needed some pants even though they are too large. I ordered my size and the pants I received were marked the same size as I wear and ordered. However they must be at least two sized larger. It's a common problem evidently with some clothing manufacturers today trying to satisfy vain people who do not want to admit they have grown with the ever expanding American waistlines and need to believe they wear a smaller size. I never know what size to order since some manufacturers still measure their clothing with the actual size and others try to satisfy the people who can't admit they are large.

I've been wearing Haggar for a long time and I love the Cool 18 series. These pants are no exception. I had to buy a few new pairs after putting on a few extra pounds (yikes). And these pants do not disappoint. While the waist fits great, the expandable feature is a must, I feel the pants overall fit a big too baggy for my taste. But they are very comfortable and durable so they get 5 stars.

These pants fit as expected and they look nice. Now these do have elastic side panels. Which give you about an extra 5 inches of room, but it doesn't say in the description if it 's an extra 5 inches or it reduces 5 inches from the size you order. When you get them, you'll find that the waist size is true to what you order and then will expand an additional 5 inches. I wish that I had of know this before I ordered them, because I would have ordered a smaller size so they would fit a little snugger. At this point, every time I move they work their way down to my ankles because of the elastic panels. So long story short... you'll need to wear a belt to prevent this, but I always wear a belt anyway to give the illusion that I have a waist. Overall, they are nice looking pants, the length is exact, good price for plus sized clothing (better than any other place that I've shopped) and I can gain another 5 inches around the waist and they'll still fit perfect. I fully recommend these.

Bought these and am quite impressed with them. They fit well, are comfortable and seem well made. I will be buying more.

Have purchased several pairs of these dress pants . Excellent value for the price. Highly recommend them for anyone who needs to wear dress pants on a daily basis.
