My hips have gotten too old, along with the rest of me, to always walk on my own. I had use of an old wood cane, but I am so happy to have bought this one. It has a flattened handle (instead of the round old cane top) with an easy to hold and comfortable matte surface. I found it easy to adjust to the correct height. Twist the locking mechanism on the cane till it 'unlocks' the adjustment for the cane length. Make the cane length longer or shorter by pulling the inside & ouside tubes of the cane apart or closer together. Then find the hole that the push in 'button' fits into that matches the height you need. You can find the correct height by putting the cane next to you and find the height where the handle comes to your wrist-then make the button go into the hole that matches that height, then twist the locking mechanism tight on the cane. When the button is in the right hole, and when the locking mechanism is twisted tight, you are ready to go. I had no trouble at all with either step of adjustment. Just make sure to do the twisting untightening ring first to adjust, otherwise you will not be able to slide the inside of the cane up and down (to find the right hole for the button to pop out of). The loop handle that hangs from the cane top is handy. I bought a big foot for it that has four feet coming out from one, which works well, but I'm not sure the one foot that came with the cane wouldn't have worked just as well in most circumstances. I find the cane really sturdy, easy to clean, love the blue color.... All in all a great first cane-I think it'll last a long time.

Good product, I like the grip on the handle and the variety of options for colors and patterns. Easy to adjust height. I picked the black cane with butterflies and get compliments on it.

Used it at Universal Theme parks in Florida, and it worked really well for me and my mom. No back pain. Loved the teal color and light weight but still sturdy. Good value for what you are getting.

Good cane. Lightweight yet supportive

Okay It finally got delivered! My husband is very happy with this walking cane. The bottom tip is very sturdy and the handle fits his large hand very comfortably. It did take a long time to deliver.

I like these canes a lot. They are light weight aluminum and the color options are aesthetically pleasing. The height adjustments are spot on and hold perfectly without being wobbly. They are comfortable to use and don’t hurt my hands, wrists or back. However they are easily scratched. The hand grips fit my hands well but have not held up under the stress I have put these canes through. The handles have rotated where the glue has separated and not held securely in place. I have repaired all but one on my own with a drop of Gorilla glue. The vinyl hand grips on the last pair purchased about a year ago has ripped and peeled. Today I had an additional two canes delivered making the total of 5 canes bought in the past 4 years. I’m going to assume maybe the kind of workout I put these canes through may be more than what they are designed for since I use them every time I move. They truly get a constant workout! So are they perfect, No! Do they last a very long time for the kind of wear and tear I put them through, No! But even with all the issues I would still give them a good rating because for the time they last I am extremely happy. I really wish they would last longer than they do but I will continue to order the Vive Walking Cane for the reasons I initially mentioned.

Ich habe den Stock vor ca. 5 Jahren gekauft. Durch eine Verletzung am Bein bin ich auf eine Gehilfe angewiesen. Der Stock ist aus 2 Metallrohren gefertigt und sehr stabil. Sehr gut und ohne viel Kraftaufwand funktioniert das Anpassen der Höhe. Das obere Rohr hat 10 Löcher, das innenliegende Rohr 10 runterdrückbare Knöpfe. Am unteren Ende des Rohrs mit den Löchern befindet sich ein Schraubverschluss. Durch Aufdrehen des Verschlusses entsteht ein kleiner Abstand, so dass man die Knöpfe leicht runterdrücken und bis zum nächsten Loch verschieben kann. Bei der Verschiebung um mehrere Löcher drehe ich eines der Rohre etwas zur Seite, so dass der gedrückte Knopf neben den Löchern verschwindet und nicht beim nächsten Loch wieder hochkommen kann, sondern erst beim gewünschten Loch. Dann den Schraubverschluss wieder festdrehen. Die Form des Griffes ist ungewöhnlich, aber bequem. Die Farbe (blau) ist ebenfalls recht auffällig. Muss man mögen. Außerdem eignet sich der Stock durch den gebogenen Griff ganz gut dazu Sachen, die in Reichweite liegen oder stehen heranzuziehen. Insgesamt ist der Gehstock angenehm leicht aber durchaus stabil. Jetzt nach 5 Jahren täglichen Gebrauchs ist die Farbe an manchen Stellen etwas verblasst. Das stört mich persönlich nicht. Ich würde den Stock nicht missen wollen und auch wieder kaufen.
