Discontinued by HeliMax so time to buy as spare parts...
Current supply has to be limited so bought 3 for spares... fun flyer linked to Tactic transmitter , set it up properly and it will perform well indoors or out (low breeze limit)Not the aerobatic model like the CP but most fun to to hover around in the house in the Winter while waiting for Spring. Not a toy, don't buy for young child, small but requires skill and knowledge of flight.I do believe that many people do not understand that these can only weigh 1oz ready to fly... you can't build unbreakable and still stay within the max flying weight. Yes, they feel fragile because of the need to keep the weight down, they are not "poorly made"If you want stronger build, you need to spend much more money on larger, more powerful Heli that can lift more weight into the air. Also, know that the larger the RC model is, the easier it is to fly overall.

A lot of helli for the money
This is a nice little helicopter for the money. It is not a beginer model. It does not survive much of a crash. Flies great. The landing gear is very light and weak. Repaired mine several times after rough landings. Many replacement parts available but if you shop around you can get a new helicopter for the price of a couple of parts and the shipping, got mine for $39. Battery is small and easy charge. Hellicopter looks great. If you have flown before and have an SLT transmitter I recommend it.

Good trainer
Flies just like the Axe 100SS just not in 3D. The Gyro makes it fly stable. It was fighting a light gust very well. My only word of advice, start outdoors with room and very calm day, use a piece of cardboard about 4ftx4ft (doesn't have to be that large) to launch from, and work over grass. That way when you cut the throttle, it lands safely.

Good Luck!
This is another poorly created model by heli-max. Landing gear and canopy pins broke on first flight. In caparison, it took 20-30. heavier impacts on my Super CP to break the gear! Canopy pins still intact. :>Flight characteristics are very unstable compared to the V911 and Super CP.WARNING -BUYER BEWARE: The power connector is wired backwards, as compared to the Super CP and other replacement batteries you can purchase on Amazon. Because my Heli-Max AXE100 quit working (would not turn on), I connected a battery from another Heli. They had the same white, small form factor connectors. The AXE100 popped and smoked! Upon examination I discovered that Heli-Max has wired the connector backwards! I only say this because I have two other brands that are wired the other way. So, you can learn from my mistake -use a volt meter! Always.Well, filed this mistake in the garbage. At least I'll forget about my wasted $50 after a few weeks, now that the thing is gone!I am down grading the rating on this to a minus 5! Please note one point from above, it quit working after 20 flights!ZRW
