Melnor 65040-AMZ XT Metal Rear Trigger Nozzle with QuickConnect Product Adapter Set, Amazon Bundle

I bought both an all plastic sprayer (Veragreen) along with the Melnor 65040-AMZ XT. Figured both got great reviews so I'd try one of each given they were more or less the same price. Both work great, but no comparison in quality. The Milnor is noticeably higher quality with a metal body and tight tolerances. I see no reason to go plastic again. I think I paid $1.00 more for the MIlnor!! Easy decision.

I purchased this based off the Melnor brand as I have their lawn sprinkler and ez connect system, both of which are fantastic.The quality seems very high as this is mostly metal construction with rubber coating applied. Water modes are nice but not overly numerous that I have to rotate 20 different settings to find the right one.There is a lock if you want to give your hand a break but you’ll need good finger nails or a string attached to unlock.Make sure you bring any hose for the winter and if you haven’t checked out their hose connect system I highly recommend for swapping out sprinklers and the like.

Seems fairly durable. You can tell it’s made a little cheap but hey, it was cheap. I’d say good and fair value for the price

Received item the next day. I was struggling with the nozzle we had, it was leaking leaving my clothes wet. This new nozzle is perfect, easy to use, gentle press for watering our plants. Several settings for all your needs. I recommend

I really like this product. It is easy to hold and use.. The shower setting is soft enough to use on flower beds. The jet spray strong enough to clean out birdbaths and the full setting delivers ample water. I like the fact that each setting has large lettering that is easy to read. I have tried a couple of different nozzles and for me this has been the best!

A very flexible hose attachment. For example I use the "jet" setting to clean out the birdbath and then the "soaker" setting to fill it again. There's a "cone" setting that's perfect for watering pots. I wanted to get the sturdier version but it wasn't available so I got this - I do think the plastic is more likely to break. But overall it's excellent value.

In past I have replaced 2 nozzle and finally ended buying Melnor Metal Rear Trigger Nozzle. It is best water nozzle I have used so far. The jet is really good & spray patterns are perfect for different use. I was hesitant to buy because it cost very less compared to others as I was worried about quality. But it is very well made compared to other expensive one out there in market.

I liked this nozzle a lot for the first six or seven months - feels good in the hand, spray patterns are different enough from each other to make the 7 settings worthwhile. No leaking, no problem getting it on or off the hose. (I did not get the one with the coupler, since I only use it for watering the garden.) However, the washer fit was really bad, which I didn't realize until it came off when I uncoupled the nozzle from the hose. And of course, was lost. Nothing else worked; all I can think is that the washer area is a weird size. Now, it leaks just enough to run down my arm whenever I use it.I take pretty good care of my tools, so this nozzle hasn't been left out in the sun or the rain - even on the hose, it's in a shaded protected area. Nonetheless, I noticed after 3-4 months that the print describing each setting was beginning to fade. Now, after a year of really not much use (once a day for 15 minutes over a period of about 4 months a year), the print is completely gone, and the only way to know what setting I'm on is to remember what's where, or try it out on each until I reach the setting I want.Last, trying to get it adjusted to it will stay on as you water is a real pain. The rubber around the trigger lock started to bend and warp almost immediately.So, good for the price, but far from "durable".

We have had this nozzle for awhile and we had to replace it because a contractor damaged it. We love it. It is very easy to turn the ring for the different spray settings. It feels sturdy. It doesn't leak. It is great that that is comes with the attachment to pop it on and off without unscrewing it. We use those all the time to switch between the sprinkler and nozzle and it makes it easy. You need to buy the part that attaches to the hose portion. It only comes with the piece for the nozzle. I also love that the spray settings tell you the name of the setting to make it quick and easy. (Some nozzles come with pictures only and it is sometimes hard to remember what each picture does.) We have had other nozzles that don't last and this nozzle has been great. Would recommend.

HAVE BOUGHT CHEAPER VERSIONS IN THE UK (SOME NO SO CHEAP) BUT AT LEAST THIS ONE CAN BE OPENED AND REPAIRED.

The mechanism works smoothly and doesn't feel cheap.even with repeated use and being dropped etc it keeps working well. I'm so tired of nozzles that only last one season. I'm into my second season and it still works like new.

I purchased this product in May 2021 and initially thought it was great. Easy to hold, lots of spray options. It served me well all summer. I put it away indoors in the fall and brought it out in May 2022 when I noticed a crack (see photos) and water sprayed everywhere. It was no good to me anymore. It lasted one year and unfortunately the manufacturer offered no warranty as I feel they knew the poor quality of the product. Very disappointed as I could have bought a cheaper unit however put out over $20 for this model thinking it was good quality.
