Festool 500076 SYS-MFT Tabletop Systainer

So this thing just lives on top of my CT Midi and houses all my clamps and track accessories. Makes it super easy to set up your track saw, and then you just sit the saw on top of this in between cuts. I also like to put one of the clamps in this MFT top upside down, and then you can put the end of the hose onto the clamp body and it’s a very convenient way to have the hose nozzle nearby and off the floor. Look, it’s expensive and overkill, but it makes my project workflow smoother and time is money.

I have had this for 2 weeks and it’s already gotten a lot of use. Perfect for clamping pieces for sanding and jigsaw work. I’ve used it for small trim piece glue ups. I even used it as a miter saw support for long base pieces. I try not to wear bags too much while I’m doing interior trim so I just empty my pockets (tape, pencil, square) into this box and I know where everything is the next day. I know it’s expensive, but sustainers really are the best system.

Works well for tool organization and combining with other sustainers.

I use this primarily on a stack of systainers to extend my MFT3 table for supporting larger materials. It's great, but the height is not perfectly level with the table- I also have the stack atop a Festool 495020 Systainer Cart. I blame the cart deign for that. Secondarily, I snap this to my festool vacuum along with whatever the other tools I might need and use it as a mobile workstation. For this it's downright amazing. I keep all of my festool clamps and a small vise inside. I can work inside a closet if I have to. The handle sucks, but if you put another container on top during major transport, it's no big deal.

There is no better product on the market for weekend wood butchers to take their tools to the project and cut down on travel time cutting boards off site. These are strong, durable boxes with a great cart to transport them all. I wish I could afford to get the entire line for my husband but I am glad I can add one or two pieces at a time and still stay within my budget. Thank you for a great product!

I have 3 of the large mft tables and 1 on the small mft tables. This little fellow is going to be great on location. It is a number 1 sustainer. Using one or two regular systainers on the sides gives you a terrific take along workbench.

I'm a handyman and was always doing dangerous over the knee cuts but now I have a super portable table for safe, fast, accurate, and clamped cutting.

This is actually an intelligently made product. I hate to admit that and I hate that I bought this. My bench is generally fairly messy and I like to have this around for smaller projects. Just trimming small boards in various ways makes this top worth it to me. The little extra storage space is also useful. Anyway, shoot me. I've totally sold out. I like the convenience of this Festool. Hope you all feel better now.

Found it for a reasonable price, well reasonable for Festool. With Festool you will always get something that is not exactly cheap, but what you will use more and more and this is now a toolbox with a built in worksurface. Gone are the days of nicks and scratches on stuff you do not want nicked or scratched. It hold the main tools I need on the road for the stuff I. It is Systainer, so I can match it with the other tools i need to take and it connect to them for easy transport and double as a small workbench. Is it just as sturdy as a work bench, are you kidding? No, but for smaller gigs it takes up no extra room.

nice product, but would be nicer if a stack of systainers or if connecting to the top of my festool vac resulted in a height equal to or slightly lower than my mft table. it sits just above the level of the MFT 3 table which precludes its use as a table extension. Otherwise its just what I needed.
