This is a great minimalist wallet if you primarily pay with a card and do not carry a lot of cash. The cards are easy to access. The design is very innovative and simple. I have been using the wallet for about 3 weeks. It is very slim and light. I hardly know that I'm carrying it. It makes my main cards very accessible. My only complaints are cash is bit of a pain to carry. For me it is not a big deal as I generally carry a minimal amount of cash. When this becomes a factor is when you are going to a festival/fair that basically only takes cash. While taking cards and cash are both easy, putting the cash back in can be a bit of a hassle. It would be nice if they put the cash pocket on the opposite side of where they have it, and they added a firm lip to make it easier to push the cash in. Other down sides are that it does not look like a premium wallet. My wife things it looks cheap. I tend to care more about functionality than aesthetics, so not really an issue for me. Also, the wallet becomes a bit cumbersome to use if you start to carry too many cards. For example, I recently won some gift cards. I started carrying them, and the wallet was not as easy to open and taking cards out became more difficult to take out. This is not surprising as the entire wallet design is elastic. Bottom line, I don't think you will find a slimmer, more functional, minimalist wallet out there.Pros:Great innovative design.Perfect if you generally only use cards and carry little cash.As slim as possible while being very functional.Cons:Feels and looks cheap.Cumbersome to carry cash. Taking putting cash back in can be a pain.If you carry greater than 10 cards, the ease of use starts to wain.

THREE YEAR EDIT (with pictures)After three years this small wallet has held up well! In the pictures you can see how there are some loose threads and an edge is frayed. The wallet itself is still tight, hasn't loosened up much at all. The belt buckle part that holds cards on each side is still in great condition. The leather pull strap is also in good condition. The only section that has loosened up in the past three years is the cash pocket.Not ready to buy a replacement, but when I do, it'll be another one of these._______________________________________I was getting tired, and a sore back, from my Costanza wallet.I needed a slimmer, Spartan wallet that could hold my credit/ debit cards (3), driver's license, work ID card, library card and health insurance card. I also needed a wallet that could carry some cash.This BASICS wallet can do all of that. I can fit all of my necessary cards, 5-10 bills and put it in my back pocket without getting any back pain? It also fits nicely in a front pocket.I like the pull up strap mechanism that slides one half of the wallet's cards up. I keep my two most used cards as the "book ends" and other cards sandwiched between them. It's easy to load and pull cards out but once you add several cards, it's not as easy to locate middle cards.I've had this wallet for a year or so and it has held up quite well. The elastic is still tight, the cash pocket is still tight and I haven't seen any fraying of the material as some other reviews have noted. If and when the wallet does break down, I'll buy another. It's well worth the small amount of the cost.

I have had this wallet for about 5 years now and I LOVE it! Still looks as new as the day I received it. Great quality, super light, and super small.

I've made a hobby out of trying to find the best minimalist wallet available. But the problem mostly comes down to "too heavy in my front pocket". Even the lighter, metal, ones are still too heavy or bulky. Or, of course, you have to dig your cards out of the slot, or they fall out easily, or the ejector doesn't work well, or the MagSafe isn't strong enough, or it's too much weight to add to the phone, or it's a ripoff price, etcetera. The other thing is a wallet in my back pocket tends to go flying out of it when I undress and toss my pants aside.I've determined that the best solution for me is to go with NOT attaching a wallet to my case, and just finding a soft-solution for my front pocket. I've tried all the rubber-band types and the thin leather ones, and all that, but I like the "ejector" style. This Nomadic wallet fulfilles that need. And, it has that place for the most-used card, which lets the tap-and-go bit of the card show, so you don't even have to remove the card(!!). I really love the design of this whole thing. The material seems sturdy and like it will last. It weighs nothing, and isn't bulky. I really love good design. Thoughtful design. This is it.UPDATE: After having this wallet for just 6 weeks, or so, the inside edge of the coin/cash pocket has frayed badly. Serious bummer, as I love the wallet. I've seen other reviews complain about this. I hope Nomadic addresses this issue, because it ruins a great product. I had to take one star off - and that was being generous. If the company reads their reviews and wants to reach out to me and assure me this issue is being fixed, then I will gladly adjust my erview back to 5 stars, and see if they will give me a replacement once the issue is resolved. No use sending me a new one if it has the same issue 6 weeks down the road.

Lives up to the hype. I decided to minimize my wallet so I tried this and a few others (Herschel Charlie?). This one was by far my favorite. I tried the others thinking this one would fall short. To my surprise this one came out on top!The others struggled to hold my 9 necessary cards, with 6 bills on top. The Basics wallet held them easily, very surprisingly, and very comfortably. All of what used to be a huge wallet is now tiny stack of cards that almost disappears in my back pocket. It works as I back or front pocket wallet.The primary card is slightly harder to get to than the video would suggest if you have cash in front of it. Cash covers a good percentage of the primary card, but it's still not all that difficult to get out. The pull-tab function really does what is promised and lets you get to the rest of your cards pretty easily. I do expect it to stretch with use so I ordered a second one to use travelling where I'm only carrying a few of the cards I need abroad.Basicaly (no pun intended), I love it. This is my primary wallet now, and I'm ordering another to be my primary wallet while traveling. It works with a few cards or a lot. It works for a back pocket wallet or a front pocket wallet. It's comfortable, cheap, and the best wallet I've ever owned.UPDATE 05/2022, FIVE YEARS LATER: I've been carrying this wallet daily for almost five years and it's been a great wallet. It's only just now beginning to show some wear. Some of the stitching on the pull strap is starting to fray, but not in any way that has inhibited function.The only downside to this wallet is cash. I only use cash once every few months and every time I had to with this wallet it was a pain. The elastic pocket is difficult to get the folded bills out of, and the bill are so compressed and creased so hard on the folds that they're difficult to handle when you're trying to count money out. On the occasions I needed cash it was a little bit of a chore.Other than cash, the wallet is amazing for cards and I don't know that it's possible to get much more minimalist while still being functional.

I’ve been on a hunt, literally, for the last 5-6 years to find the perfect minimalist front pocket wallet. I went through 3 others before finding the Nomatic. I’m a fan of their travel/commuter bags (but don’t own any), so i’m familiar with the quality of the brand.Anyway, my previous wallets have had one or more deal-breakers for me ranging from the card slots stretching over time, to impractical or downright non functioning money holders/clips. I’ve just dealt with these annoyances until wear took its toll or it just became a risk for me to continue using a particular wallet.With the Nomatic, I can officially say that my quest is over! It is absolutely perfect in every way that I need it to be. It holds 8 of my cards, still has room for cash/receipts and most importantly, it holds everything SUPER securely. As in total lock down!I don’t see a situation in the future where I’ll be needing to carry several more cards so I feel confident that i’m going to get years of usage out of this wallet. For situations where I’ll be carrying a ton of cash on me I’ll figure out an alternative. For the other 99% of situations, I’m covered with this Nomatic wallet.A big bonus for me, as it relates to my weekly work commute, this wallet is so small form factor that I’m able to slide it into the back pocket of my commuter slacks which have a security zipper. :)Well done Nomatic, and thanks for designing a very well-made product!!

My previous wallet was this wallet as well. After a decade, it was due for a replacement. This is my favorite wallet. I keep a metal card in it to reflect RF, but by having the body soft, I don't feel hard edges against me when I sit. It's so thin that you forget it's there, and the tuggable tag makes it easy to get to cards on either side. It holds them TIGHT too, which gives good peace of mind. When I'm in a foreign town, I can put it in my front pocket and it's not noticeable to others or even me. Great design.

I don’t know how long the elastic will last, but this is exactly what I was looking for. Extremely lightweight. No metal to scratch up things or rattle when I place it in the car or other places where metal wallets aren’t ideal. Very small and minimalist, yet easy to put every card that I need to take with it, and in my case, a single bill just in case.Exactly what I want. I can’t see why it won’t last for me, I don’t expect the elastics to be an issue, but I see some others have had that issue. For my use, I expect it to last for a very long time. I’m very happy with it.

Es pequeña, ligera y discreta; perfecta!!! Lo único es que si metes muchas tarjetas al principio y luego decides no llevar tantas, tienes que tener cuidado porque se da de si y se pueden caer al no recuperar su firmeza original.

Habe die Slim Wallet erst etwas kritisch betrachtet, aber ich muss sagen es ist eine tolle Anschaffung. Man merkt dann erst wie umständlich und sinnlos unsere traditionellen Geldbörsen sind, und wir zahlen ja eh immer öfter mit der Karte. Ich habe dennoch meinen Bargeldvorrat gut untergebracht. Hier merkt man als einziges kleines Problemchen dass die Wallet in den USA gemacht wurde. Die großen Euro Noten muss man klein falten, sonst verdecken sie die erste Karte. Aber da mich persönlich das gar nicht stört kein Sternchen Abzug.

Was fed up of constantly having to fumble my old school wallet and happened to come across this on YouTube. Decided to purchase and it was a great decision. Fits my 6 most used cards and now I no longer have to take my debit card out to make contactless payments. Also has a small pouch for cash, but I use it for my key instead. Overall very convenient, although I wish the materials were a bit more premium though I'm probably just nitpicking
