I bought these for a young adult who will likely move many times before getting “settled” so I wanted to avoid stemware. Let’s be clear - these are not fine crystal. They are sturdy glassware in an attractive design that is very versatile for martinis, cosmopolitans, manhattans, gimlets, etc. Cocktails are all the rage with young adults these days so I thought they’d appreciate a proper glass in which to serve. My husband and I agreed that the base is large enough for a male hand to hold comfortably. They could also be used for juice at a brunch, ice cream or mousse desserts, nuts or mints, etc. The set of six is perfect and an excellent value. Four seemed too few and eight too many for a young person’s apartment storage capacity. They are packaged in a sturdy corrugated cardboard box with an interior cardboard divider. It’s not a lighter weight gift box, but it does have a picture of the glass, identifies Bormioli Rocco as the manufacturer, and says “Made in a italy.” No bubble wrap but shipped inside an Amazon carton, they arrived with no breakage. My only comment is that the box would be perfect if it had a tuck-in flap style top that you could open and close for easy access if storing the glasses in the box.

Love these glasses. Great for cocktails and well made. Whoever says they aren’t I totally disagree with. I love that they are sturdy and use them all the time. Very well packed in the box.

Beautiful martini glasses. They make quite a statement. Great quality. Perfect size!

I wanted a stemless martini glass that had both a cool silhouette and a bit of heft to the base. These glasses are all of that. Look chic but sturdy; and they hold an ounce or two more than others for fancy, fun cocktails. While other brands offered four glasses, I got six and did not pay much more considering their quality. Very pleased with these.

Overall quality is great. One of the glasses as seen in picture arrived chipped. I think packaging could be improved to prevent that during shipping. Would have rates 5 stars if it wasn’t for broken glass

I bought these to replace some that had been broken. Not sure where I bought the other ones I had but I was pleased to see they matched perfectly. They are a nice size, not too big or not too small.

These are just what I wanted , they look soooo nice. The base is heavy - prevents spills! Customer service was great. One package arrived and when I picked it up it was apparent that they were all broken. I notified them and they said to,throw away and quickly sent replacement.

Has a substantial lip that does not chip, unlike other similar glasses. This is the one you want.
