A Well-Made Clicker That Won't Hurt Your Fingers
Until I bought these Karen Pryor brand clickers, I had been trying to use some of the "old-style" clickers which are designed with an indentation to stick your finger into instead of a button to push. With those old clickers, I kept getting my finger stuck between the body of the clicker and the metal plate that makes the clicking sound. Sometimes, that was very painful!I was relieved to see that these clickers have a different design which allows the user to push a button in order to generate the clicking sound. This clicker's button design is easy to use, and only requires a very soft push in order to make a "click", so I'm able to click away without my fingers getting tired and without squishing them inside the clicker.I use this clicker to train my dog and my horses. It works for both species, and the clicking sound is loud enough for them to hear from several yards away, but is certainly not loud enough for them to hear from across a field or even across a big backyard if it's a windy day or if there's a lot of background noise. So if you're looking for something to use in a field trial/outdoor setting, you may want to try a whistle or a different brand of clicker. This clicker produces a rather pleasant and gentle click that won't bother your ears, even when used in a confined indoor setting. My only complaint is that I wish this clicker had two rings to attach a holder/lanyard to instead of just one(i.e. an area to attach a fastener to at both the top and the bottom of it instead of just at the top. If there were a second fastener to secure it to, I could easily attach it to my reins or my dressage whip so that I could use it effectively while I'm riding my horses instead of only using it during my groundwork with them. All in all, this is a great product that I highly recommend. Clicker training animals is lots of fun, and is very effective and this is an affordable, easy to use clicker to help you with the training process.

Awesome
These work great even with my arthritic hands. Better than all other brands. I gave some away to friends and family who have dogs. Will be ordering these again. They work really well for training. I plan to order a copy of Karen Pryor hard bound book too.

Clicker is comfortable in hand and easy to use.
The best Clicker out there! So easy to use, cofortable, and not so loud that it scares the animal.

Great Clickers Batman, These are Big!
These are nice Dog Training clickers. I like them much better than the razor blade looking ones. Having 3 in one package is nice, it gave me one to keep on the leash, one to keep in the car, and one to keep handy near the sofa. With the button, these are about the size of most car key FOBS (remote to unlock car doors) so at least to me, it's too big to keep on my key chain when I put them in my pocket with my car key.Consistent sound is probably the best part. With the thumb pressing clickers, sometimes the sound is muffled or different depending on the pressure. These seem to always give of the same sound, which I think is better for training.

Easy to use, puppy loves it too
We recently adopted a 9 wk old puppy and in less than a week he had already mastered a solid 'sit' with 'down' close behind. Our pup was scared of loud and sudden noises when we first brought him home, but this specific clicker is not harsh sounding and he took to it immediately. This clicker sound is still very clear and distinct with a clean 'click'. I did do research on clicker training prior to getting our puppy and there are some great tutorials on youtube specifically involving a Great Dane named Honey that I watched to become more familiar with the clicker technique. We do clicker training multiple times a day for short amounts of time, sometimes even replacing a meal with clicking and treating with his regular dog food. I can say when Banjo see the clicker he gets excited because he knows fun times are about to happen!Growing up I had dogs and trained them without clickers, and also I have volunteered at a shelter and work with those dogs on basic commands just using treats. The clicker makes a HUGE difference in my opinion for ease of training and fast learning.I have not personally tried other clickers, but I did look over lots of online reviews and compare different types of clickers. This brand is so great I don't feel the need to branch out just yet :) I also do not have it attached to a wrist bracelet, I just hold it in one hand and treats in the other. It is lightweight and fits perfectly in my palm (I have rather petite hands). I love having 3 as well so there is always one close by when I need it, and if I lose one I still have two more backups! These clickers are definitely worth the price!

Decent product but needs refinement
The actual clicking aspect of this component is very good. Loud, easy to use, works terrific! The one MAJOR DESIGN FLAW is the injection molding design of the region which attaches to a key ring. This portion is far too thin and when attached to keys, the unit will crack with very little effort.Basically, if you're going to carry this piece in your pocket by itself, the design is satsfactory. If you are going to be attaching it to a key rink or hook of any sort, you will need to build a carrier of some sort, perhaps leather or cloth. It's a simple fix to the cavity mold and would enhance the product tremendously.

Fundamental for training a puppy!
I have a ten year old dog that I trained a loooong time ago, and I remembered using a clicker to train her. So, after we got our newest addition, a 6 week old Lab puppy, we decided to try clicker training again. I looked up the YouTube videos recommended by another user, starring Honey The Great Dane, and the trainer in the videos is very knowledgable. We've seriously only had them for a few days, and already, he's doing better at the potty training (we click it and give him a treat when he does his business outside), and he knows how to sit, and lay down. Not too shabby for a pup who isn't even 8 weeks old yet! And like the other users said, it's very easy to use. The old devices were just...different? It was like a little piece of metal IN some hollowed out plastic. These are an actual button, so it's easy to just attach one to his leash and click it when necessary. And the multi-kit comes in handy, too. For example, we have one on his leash, one on the coffee table, and one in the car. If we're sitting down, and we tell him to stop doing something (barking, for example), and he does it, we click, praise, and treat. So far, his behavior is much improved! Well worth a couple dollars.

The best clicker you'll ever find! You really can click it any way you can touch it!
I have tried several different kinds of clickers, and this one is hands down my favorite. It has a clear crisp sound, loud enough for my dogs to hear over environmental noise (the neighbor's barking dog, a plane flying by, kids playing in the next yard) . You can truly click this clicker any way you can manage to touch it! No matter how I press it, I always hear a perfect "click." I have just tapped it while it was sitting on the counter, hit it with my foot, squeezed it against my palm, upside down, right side up, it always clicks loud and clear. Other clickers require you to perfectly tap the button or metal tab in order to hear it. This one is amazing! My dogs love them. I use a single click for one dog, and a quick double-click for my second dog. It is very easy to get make a clear obvious double-click with no hesitation in between the clicks, so my dogs know who the "click" is for. I bought the three pack and keep one in my car, one by the front door, and one in the living room, so I always have a clicker ready to catch them being good boys! This clicker is definitely better than any other I have tried. Just a note, this one may not be for fearful dogs. It is much louder than others.
