Fire-Safe SENSFW205GRC Sentry Digital Lock Safe, XX-Large

The safe itself is really pretty nice but I had an issue with the water resistance aspect. When I unboxed the safe I found the water seal broken and sticking out from under the door. I live near water so this was one of my major requirements when selecting this safe. The water seal is a small rubber/foam strip glued around the edge of the door. As the door opens and closes the seal rubs against the main body of the safe. It appears that on mine the seal twisted before the glue set and ripped apart. I reported the issue to the manufacturer and they very quickly sent a replacement seal. I like the safe and am very happy with it.

This item was not only banged up when it arrived, it was also dropped off by the curb side instead of my front door. Then key and battery were not included, and the batter slot was corroded. When me wife purchased the battery and try to open it following the instruction, nothing happened.To make matters worse, my wife throw her back trying log the safe in..Yes, I am a deployed Military Officer and couldn't be there to do it myself. I am so disappointed with this product that I felt completely taken advantage of..I wouldn't have minded if it was just the physical damage which may have occurred in transit but for the fact that everything seem to be falling apart, the handle came off, the door will not open and dents all over the the body, that was more than I can take..Don't wast your time and money on this product or vendor!

Had a Sentry Safe before & had many issues with it. This one is so much better. I would buy it again. I like the inserts that make it more manageable.

This safe is heavy, looks good and it is sturdy, the way it should be. Unfortunately it came with a dent on the right side. Not sure if the dent has something to do with it, but the upper area of the inside of the safe seems to have been pushed-in. This creates a problem for the inner upper drawer to open or close correctly. I don't want to force it to move in or out because I am afraid I will break it since it is made from hard plastic. Other than this main issue, the safe is nice and seems like your valuables are protected. The safe comes with a key which you can use as a second lock in order to have to forms of protection, the key and the electronic keypad. Amazon is sending me a replacement safe because of the dent and the problem with the inner drawer. Great product overall. I recommend it to those who need personal items to be locked away and inaccessible to nosy people.

Good size for my purposes. Easy to setup, but make sure you have AAA batteries at hand, otherwise you can't even open the safe to get to the keys for the drawer and the lock. and the instructions. Also important to note is that you loose the waterproofing if you bolt it to the ground because you need to drill holes. For some reason I thought there is a built-in/integrated feature that allows to bolt down a safe. Drawer with key lock inside is nice to have. Safe has a factory code that you can't erase or overwrite, but you can add additional codes that may be easier to remember. Happy with the purchase and the price.

Upon delivery, no dents or scratches, as others have reported. Amazon does offer the best price. The safe is solid and can be conveniently stored in a closet. I purchased the shelf and locking draw, which are very convenient for organizing things inside the safe. Opens and closes without any difficulty. Plenty of room for storage. The door has two compartments (upper and lower) that protrude up to an inch for storing things such as a passport, etc. I recommend this safe.

Handle is a plastic and feels like it might break with just a little bit of force.Plastic panel on the door also a bit cheapo - it has key hooks but they look like they'll break with light use.Digital key pad is nice. It's lighted and has an audio confirmation of each button press. Inside it is a good size. I do wish I had purchased the additional shelf or low profile tray. There is room inside for it.Weight was good. Light enough to handle myself and get it where I wanted it in the house.

This thing is already going to be a problem. Order and delivered a month ago. Just got around to opening it. Top corner of the safe is smashed in to the point the welded seam has a gap. So the fire rating is probably null and void. Wonderful.
