CB032 Chromes Bass Guitar Single String, .032

Have used these for about 40+ years and chrome is easier to clean and lasts way longer than traditional roundwound strings. I’m using this 32 to convert my seldom used 5-string basses to E-A-D-G-C so my intonation will hold up to the higher notes. PS: these are long-scale (34-35”) strings. Still shopping for a short-scale version of chromes.

I bought this string because I've got a 5 string bass and recently bought a 4 string pack of Chromes to try them on my local store (They didn't have the 5 string pack). So I ordered this one to complete. Experience: EXCELENT!!! They sound amazing, just the tone I was looking for, very warm, very punchy, not lots of bright, the kind of sound that you will hear from a Pino Palladino bass line and the smooth feel completes a whole new thing. This is my string set from now on! The seller did a very fast shipping and the product came just as described.

Bumped a classic 4 set down a string and then added this as a high 5th string on my 5 string fretless. Great arrangement for bass chords.

You can't ask for more - good sound, decent price. These strings last quite long if you make sure to keep them clean.

C STRING for my six string bass for some reason I couldn't get full D'Addario 6 string sets so purchased. Two D'Addario 5 string sets and the two CBO32's instead and it worked out perfectly And I have spares .. Love the Flat Wound mellow sound, feel and durability

For when you use d'addario chromes and play a 5 string with a high C. Sounds great on my 5 string jazz.

Beyond me why they don't just include these in a 6 string chrome pack. But then at that price...

Hi all: I'm bass player since my hole life but more active this last 5 years and I'm currently playing blues, soul and some independent/alternative rock songs. I've been testing some B bass flatwound strings and this one from D'Addario gives a very nice and warm sound for my taste. If you ask, I don't like this very popular modern sound. Too nasal for me, saturated of middles like and with a tendency to kind of plastic sounding. This string may not be the most earthy and fat of the market but the adjectives about being "warm" and "mellow" that you can read on the package are really true. And the tension, another aspect of the string to play, is nice and high for me, and I like it. It is flexible but not that much. Good enough for me and for the speakers, ha! See you...

This blue wrap up is sloppy, not to standard and too big. If I cut it off may unwrap the knot. Otherwise string looks good but cannot fit the guitar.

Corde reçue dans les délais mais s'est cassée au montage. Je suis musicien depuis de très nombreuses années et cela ne m'étais jamais arrivé ! Je demande un remboursement ou l'envoi d'une autre corde. Merci

Ottima corda, usata per basso 5 corde frettles, in accoppiata con la muta da 4 corde in modo da poter utilizzare il do al posto del si bassi. Acquisto consigliato. I terminali hanno la fettuccia blu.
