DREAMHAX Coolbaby Handheld Retro Game Console with 10000 Free Games, 5.0" Screen, Blue

Pros: came in early, build quality is better then what you would expect for the price, there are games on console, does work on external screen "when enabled in main menu settings speaker is just right. Cons: I ordered a dreamhax, and recieved a cool baby. "Cool baby" has a bad wrap for making products that dont work. Surprisingly the thing works really nicely. It takes alittle bit to figure out. I had to map my bottons in the settings, really easy to do, use left and right trigger buttons to scroll up and down. some games are Arcade and require you put in a coin, just hit select. Come with ATARI, original Netendo, SEGA, Gameboy, Gameboy color, Gameboy advanced with 100+ games in each. I put the TF card in my phone and down loaded a kids movie off netflix to the TF card installed it back into device and it played no problem. Can also down load music on it. Overall I'm impressed to say the least, I wish I had this when I was a kid growing up. Will be picking up a few more for the kids.

It's a rip off. Everything is in Chinese can't understand the games . doesn't stay on without USB which makes it not portable the whole reason why I got it false advertising it's a cool baby not a dreamhax and nothing is cool about it. WAIST OFF MONEY.

My grandson really enjoyed it

Struggles with SNES and Genesis but runs MAME's fine for some reason. Also runs some PS1 game real good too. Runs Gameboy Advance great. Buttons are good but the joystick is a bit jenky but works. The MP3 players sounds good and the video player quality is good.

Did not recieve the Dreamhax but the Coolbaby instead even though I ordered the Dreamhax. Doesn't appear to be the same quality and some of the preloaded games do not work. Would not recommend

Half the games that came already loaded were in Chinese, console d-pad buttons sticky prohibiting most game play.

This is a nifty gadget. It does a great job emulating different handhelds. I've have played several favorites. The file interface needs some work. And I've found some of the game filenames are wrong. But you can fix those easy. This is a great and inexpensive gadget to play old school games. It is well made as well.

When did Amazon become Wish.com? Don't buy the Coolbaby if you're expecting a US quality product. My biggest problem with it is the software. There are many repeat titles, the navigation system is terrible, games and menus appear in at least 3 languages, games are not at all original so the music and graphics have been hacked. Playing a game on the coolbaby is like watching a recording of a recording of someone holding up their phone in a movie theater. The options don't let you rename or move files; in case you wanted to sort through and choose 1-3 nearly tolerable titles. Why don't they advertise the brand name Coolbaby in the listing? It's a bait and switch. MADE IN CHINA.
