SoundMAGIC ES18 Wired in Ear Earphone Without Mic (Red)

Hi guys this is my genuine review after using ES18 on my Oneplus one. I will break it down into sections for easier understanding1) DesignI bought the red and black version of ES18 and as far as looks goes they look pretty dope to me. Red and black gives it a premium look which looks nothing less than a 1000 rs earphone. In my opinion go for the red-black ones, you will not be disappointed.2) Build QualityConsidering the price I can guarantee that SoundMaguc scores highly when its build quality is considered. I have not come across any sub 600 rs earphones with such good build quality. The wires are tangle free unlike its competitors like cx-180 and entry level skullcandies along with Sony and even jbl's t100 and t150 lag in build quality when compared to es18. You dont have to worry about the wear and tear as the earphones are pretty strong and they come with one year warranty too.3) Sound QualityThis is the one department wherein es18 beats all the earphones in this price range to the ground. If jbl or Sony were to manufacture these earphones they would have priced is somewhere between 1200 rs to 1500 rs and you can have my word on this. The sound output is heavenly. I am a little bass head guys you see. Soundmagic has 10mm drivers installed in it. 10mm gives enough bass for hip-hop,R and b,electronic music. You can use your equalizer to adjust your music to the way you like it. Trebel and vocals are good as well. But as I mentioned this earphones are little on the bass side. So if you are a bass head and do not have enough cash this one is for you. Also the one point I would like you guys to know that these in ear earphones provide excellent noise isolation as well. Not cancellation but isolation. I have to using it while I travel and in only rare cases I hear the surrounding noise that too only if it too high. So there you go awesome bass, good trebel and vocals and excellent noise isolation.4) AccessoriesYou get 3 pair of earbuds with es18 which are L,M S. That's the only accessory which you get. My friend ad bought es18 in 2014 and he received a sound magic carrying pouch with his es18. I was disappointed to not get this carrying pouch. So I wrote an email to sound magic customer care and they confirmed that they no longer provide these carrying pouch with es18. So yeah, no carrying pouch for ones buying after June 2015 I suppose. And for just this one reason of no longer including the pouch I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5I hope this review helps all of you.Thankssss byee.

SoundMagic ES18 Noise IsolationIn-Ear Headphone,Black/Red Hi,This is the very first time that I am writing a product review for an item.Reason?Cuz these pair of earphones are just so good that they command the respect to have one. Just ask all the other 900+ reviews for this product!I bought these on 7th March 2015, more than an year ago that means. That was the life span of these earphones and know this. These earphones are the only pair I HAVE EVER OWNED THIS LONG A TIME.I have bought a lot of earphones over the years, Skullcandy , Sonys, Sennheisers CX 275s and all well above this price range. NONE OF THEM MADE THE END OF THE YEAR.In full disclosure, it might have been my fault cuz I use my earphones ALOT and I agree that the places I use it in are while driving, running going around town,etc. Whatever it is a brilliant set of earphones need to last a long time and the ES18 did.Now, let me breakdown what I realized in the full time I had the Soundmagic ES18Build Quality: Brilliant. Wires could have been made better but at this price range, they were spot on.Sound : HANDS DOWN THE MOST SATISFYING PAIR OF EARPHONES I HAVE EVER HAD.TRUTH: I am no audiophile. I cant tell you what the highs and lows were like or the treble or the bass cuz frankly I wont be able to do any justice to it. And more importantly , I didn't really care cuz Over All the quality was so good and wonderful that I was just happy to have them day and night.Recommendation: TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A BRILLIANT PIECE OF TECH. I am in college so I go to classes in a scooter with these on, go to the gym with these on and watch a lot of videos and hear a lot of music all the time through out the day, so when I am telling you that you will seriously not regret buying these.P.S. I hate to say goodbye to these earphones cuz I really don't think I could have made a better decision when I bought them. Plus it was my fault that these broke when I tugged on the left earphone wire while trying to take it out of my scooter trunk. THEY DID NOT LET ME DOWN, MY MISTREATMENT LET THEM DOWN. #RIP ES18.

These are good earphones if you are in a quite room. But if you want complete isolation on a noisy bus or busy train these aren't for you. Out of the tips provided I found what I thought was a good fit but in realised I was pushing them back into my ears every 2 minutes. They are also not the most durable earphones. One of of them literally broke in half after 2 months with the he wires keeping the the he would halves together. I successfully taped them together again and they kept going for another month but today they have given in. Definitely not what I was expecting with earphones costing £20

I have paid £45 for beats "In ear" earphones.I have paid £27 for skullcandy "In ear" earphones. I paid £20 for these badass sound magic es18 earphones in which are dominant in every aspect. The bass is unreal, These things make bass themselves just out of anything. You could listen to classical music and get a showdown of bass. These earphones are mad, for £20 you get something that stays in ears, you get clarity on a whole 'nother level, you get earbuds superior to £45 beats, These buds are the whole package. The deleivery experience with amazon prime is respectable it is honestly something definately worth paying for.

I've had these earphones for about 4 months now. And the left earpasqhone broke. As in it literally came apart, however they were easily fixable. I just glued it back together and the sound wasn't affect. The sound is still perfect in both ears. However the noise cancellation on these earphones is terrible. Well not terrible, but it's not great. When I'm watching a movie or whatever on Netflix and the volume is on full blast, I can still hear the television or people talking or whatever in the background which is extremely frustrating. Even after playing around with the equaliser settings on my phone to improve the sound, it made it slightly better but not as good as my previous samsung earphones which were £25. Also the bass is okay, not as clear as I'd like it to be but what should I expect after only spending £20.

For the price - excellent value for money. Good quality sound (tone / base), comes with a travel pouch and several buds for optional ear fitting. The actual lead does not feel flimsy (as if it may snap at any minute) and though I cannot go into more detail as some of the other 'pure connoisseur's' who wrote a very in-depth (and helpful) account of this product - I would definitely recommend!!

Good all-over sound without being heavy in the bass. Separation is acceptable and vocals are noticeably clear for a product of this type. Means I'll no longer have to drag my JVC over-ears around with me all day.
