Bread Bags with Ties, Reusable, 100 Clear Bags and 100 Ties

I gave the bag's a five-star rating but that is just for the bags. The ties don't deserve any stars at all. First for the bags; they are thick and large and, given the gusset, will fit just about anything you throw at it. They are sturdy and do well in the freezer. I have no compunctions about making a very positive recommendation but do want to caution that the ties are insufficient for use with these bags. This is for two reasons: first, they are flimsy and don't really hold terribly well. Second, they are too short. As these are thicker freezer bags, when you twist the open end to put the tie around, it creates a relatively thick area that these ties are simply too short to work well with. I would suggest either tying two ties together or using your own ties from some other source. Having said that I would certainly buy these bags again!

I’ve been using these sourdough bread bags for a while now, and I’m honestly really impressed with the quality. The material feels thick and durable—not flimsy at all—and they hold up really well when storing homemade loaves!

I read quite a few reviews - both 5-star and 1-star - before buying these bags. I needed bags for homemade bread, which I bake once or twice a week. Nothing fancy, just affordable, convenient and big enough for loaves of homemade bread. This product met all the requirements. The bags are not heavy duty, but enough to keep a loaf of bread dress for a few days. One reviewer xo.mentex that the bags were not big enough, but I found them big enough for one - and possibly two - loaves of standard 9x5 loaves that are about 5-6 inches high. The ties that are provided are a bit flimsy, but I collect plastic tabs from other products and use them. The bags come packaged in a slightly larger plastic bag, and it would be nice to have them in a box or other dispenser; but for the cost, this is fine. Don't over think this product: it does what it says it will do.

They are good plastic bags. Not too thick and not too thin. My bread loaves fit in them well.

I use these bags for my boule sourdough loaves and LOVE them! They look so pretty sliced up with the gold tab. They keep my bread fresh for a little longer and I appreciate that! I have these in a couple of different sizes and use them every week.

I use these bread bags to store dog cookies that I bake. The bags are well made and easy to use. They hold up well in the freezer and refrigerator. My baked goods stay fresh. Love them!

Good quality. We receive a lot of sour dough bread and need own bags. These will come in handy when we split our bread products and put them in the freezer. They're versatile and reusable.

These are great bags! Lots of room for even a large loaf of bread, or a dozen buns, and the plastic is a good thickness (same as bags used for grocery store bread). The description says “reusable” and I have washed and reused a bag with no problems. The twist ties are flimsy, but they do the job. I was delighted to find these as I could not find any bags in the stores that worked for bread. They were either too small or way too big - and too expensive! There are priced right and perfect for my needs

The Amazon description of these bags is quite accurate. They are 17.5 inches long and 8 inches wide with a 2 inch pleat on each side. When the pleat is expanded the bags are 11.5 inches wide. The description says the plastic is 2 mm thick, which is incorrect. It is 2 mil thick (0.002 inches). This measurement probably means very little to most people so suffice to say that the bags are plenty sturdy for most kitchen uses. We purchased them to hold and freeze homemade loaves of bread and they seem perfect for that purpose. I noticed that another reviewer stated the bags were 5 cents each. I suspect that person calculated incorrectly as they are 20 cents each. I think they are still good value for home use as they can be reused at least 5 times if they are kept clean and not overloaded.
