Excellent filament, very clean print, no clogging, definitely will reorder

This PLA will clog the nozzle when the temps drop, so the only negative I can say is pull it out, snip the end and your off... It looks gorgeous, and I can print for days and have with this PLA. It likes 200-210c on the nozzle, and 65 on the bed. I've never needed to preheat or dry this PLA, works beautifully.

This filament prints great after drying (6-8 hrs at PLA temps) on an AMS with a Bambu P1S. Overall color looks more like a gun metal than a black but looks and prints great.

I tested this PLA filament on a detailed print (cat model), and while it did require some initial adjustments, the results after dialing it in were excellent. ⚠️ Important upfront: This was not perfect right out of the gate. My first two prints failed before I made some changes in settings. Once corrected, it printed consistently and cleanly. ✅ What worked really well: -Size & Value. Full 2.2lb spool, good quality, quantity, and cost ratio. -Great performance. No stringing, oozing, or warping once settings were adjusted. -Excellent bed adhesion. no lifting issues at all. -Print quality. Fully opaque finish, no unwanted translucency anywhere. -Strong and durable. Noticeably less brittle than other PLA brands I’ve used. -Clean, smooth surface with a subtle metallic sheen that doesn’t look overly plastic. ⭐️ Great for post-processing. This filament handled finishing work very well: Sanding ✔️ Mod Podge prep ✔️ Acrylic paint ✔️ Sealing ✔️ Some filaments I’ve used in the past didn’t hold up as well during this process, but this one stayed solid throughout. ⚠️ What to be aware of: -Requires some tuning. May not be ideal if you want perfect results on the first print without adjustments. Once adjusted, performance improves significantly. ⭐ Overall: If you’re willing to make a few tweaks, this filament delivers strong, clean, and professional-looking prints. The durability and finish quality make it a great option, especially for projects that require post-processing or display-quality results. If you’re looking for a PLA that isn’t brittle and can handle sanding/painting, this is a solid option. 4 stars — loses a point for needing initial troubleshooting and failures, but overall good performance.

It does make for a nice print. I had to turn my heat up quite a bit, and I found my nozzle was clogging during long prints, it is a new nozzle. I haven't tried to increase the nozzle heat some more yet though, I will the next time I make a print. I won't tell you my temperatures since every machine is different, but I would say start about 10 degrees higher than regular PLA. The material itself seems to be stiffer than PLA+ that I've been using, a little more brittle, and the filament will kink if you bend it. I was able to reproduce the look that is advertised in the picture.

This is good PLA Silk black filament for 3D printing. Once the printer is set up right (initial level according to the manual) you get excellent results with PLA silks.

great quality, prints smooooth and i mean smooth. doesnt clog the nozzle, print quality is great, fantastic value. i have tried a couple of others and was really disappointed in them. I print pretty large objects, so having an affordable pla that is that a great quality is super important. would recommend.
